| 1 | David avait passé un peu au delà du sommet, lorsque voici, Tsiba, serviteur de Mephibosheth, vint à sa rencontre avec deux ânes bâtés, sur lesquels il y avait deux cents pains, et cent gâteaux de raisins secs, et cent de fruits d'été, et une outre de vin. | And when David was a little past the top [of the ascent], behold, Ziba the servant of Mephibosheth met him, with a couple of asses saddled, and upon them two hundred loaves of bread, and a hundred clusters of raisins, and a hundred of summer fruits, and a bottle of wine. | Davide aveva di poco superato la cima del monte, quand'ecco Tsiba servo di Mefibosceth gli si fece incontro con un paio di asini sellati e carichi di duecento pani, cento grappoli di uva secca, cento frutti d'estate e un otre di vino. |

Et Tsiba dit: Les ânes sont pour la maison du roi, pour les monter; et le pain et les fruits d'été, pour que les jeunes hommes les mangent; et le vin, pour que celui qui est fatigué dans le désert en boive. | And the king said unto Ziba, What meanest thou by these? And Ziba said, The asses are for the king`s household to ride on; and the bread and summer fruit for the young men to eat; and the wine, that such as are faint in the wilderness may drink. | Il re disse a Tsiba: Cosa intendi fare con queste cose?. Tsiba rispose: Gli asini serviranno di cavalcatura alla casa del re; il pane e i frutti d'estate sono per nutrire i giovani, e il vino è perché ne bevano quelli che saranno stanchi nel deserto. |

And Ziba said unto the king, Behold, he abideth at Jerusalem; for he said, To-day will the house of Israel restore me the kingdom of my father. | Il re disse: Dov'è il figlio del tuo signore?. Tsiba rispose al re: Ecco, è rimasto a Gerusalemme, perché ha detto: "Oggi la casa d'Israele mi restituirà il regno di mio padre". |

Et Tsiba dit: Je me prosterne; que je trouve faveur à tes yeux, ô roi, mon seigneur! | Then said the king to Ziba, Behold, thine is all that pertaineth unto Mephibosheth. And Ziba said, I do obeisance; let me find favor in thy sight, my lord, O king. | Allora il re disse a Tsiba: Ecco tutto ciò che appartiene a Mefibosceth è tuo. | 5 | Et le roi David vint jusqu'à Bakhurim; et voici, il en sortit un homme de la famille de la maison de Saül, et son nom était Shimhi, fils de Guéra: il sortit en maudissant, | And when king David came to Bahurim, behold, there came out thence a man of the family of the house of Saul, whose name was Shimei, the son of Gera; he came out, and cursed still as he came. | Quando il re Davide giunse a Bahurim, ecco uscire di là un uomo della stessa parentela della casa di Saul, di nome Scimei, figlio di Ghera. Egli usciva proferendo maledizioni, |
| 6 | et lança des pierres contre David et contre tous les serviteurs du roi David; et tout le peuple et tous les hommes forts étaient à sa droite et à sa gauche. | And he cast stones at David, and at all the servants of king David: and all the people and all the mighty men were on his right hand and on his left. | e gettava sassi contro Davide e contro tutti i servi del re Davide, mentre tutto il popolo e tutti gli uomini di valore stavano alla destra e alla sinistra del re. |
| 7 | Et Shimhi disait ainsi en maudissant: Sors, sors, homme de sang, et homme de Bélial! | And thus said Shimei when he cursed, Begone, begone, thou man of blood, and base fellow: | Mentre malediceva Scimei diceva Vattene, vattene, uomo sanguinario e scellerato! |
| 8 | L'Éternel a fait retomber sur toi tout le sang de la maison de Saül, à la place duquel tu as régné, et l'Éternel a mis le royaume dans la main d'Absalom, ton fils; et te voilà pris dans ton propre mal, car tu es un homme de sang. | Jehovah hath returned upon thee all the blood of the house of Saul, in whose stead thou hast reigned; and Jehovah hath delivered the kingdom into the hand of Absalom thy son; and, behold, thou art [taken] in thine own mischief, because thou art a man of blood. | L'Eterno ha fatto cadere sul tuo capo tutto il sangue della casa di Saul, al posto del quale tu hai regnato; e l'Eterno ha dato il regno nelle mani di Absalom, tuo figlio; ed eccoti ora preso nella tua stessa malvagità, perché sei un uomo sanguinario. |
| 9 | Et Abishaï, fils de Tseruïa, dit au roi: Pourquoi ce chien mort maudit-il le roi, mon seigneur? Laisse-moi passer et lui ôter la tête. | Then said Abishai the son of Zeruiah unto the king, Why should this dead dog curse my lord the king? let me go over, I pray thee, and take off his head. | Allora Abishai, figlio di Tseruiah, disse al re: Perché questo cane morto deve maledire il re, mio signore? Ti prego, lascia che io vada a troncargli la testa!. |
| 10 | Et le roi dit: Qu'y a-t-il entre moi et vous, fils de Tseruïa? Oui, qu'il maudisse; car l'Éternel lui a dit: Maudis David! et qui diras: Pourquoi fais-tu ainsi? | And the king said, What have I to do with you, ye sons of Zeruiah? Because he curseth, and because Jehovah hath said unto him, Curse David; who then shall say, Wherefore hast thou done so? | Ma il re rispose: Che ho da fare con voi, figli di Tseruiah? Per cui lasciatelo maledire, perché l'Eterno gli ha detto: "Maledici Davide!". E chi può dire: "Perché fai così?". |
| 11 | Et David dit à Abishaï et à tous ses serviteurs: Voici, mon fils, qui est sorti de mes entrailles, cherche ma vie; combien plus maintenant ce Benjaminite! Laissez-le, et qu'il maudisse! car l'Éternel le lui a dit. | And David said to Abishai, and to all his servants, Behold, my son, who came forth from my bowels, seeketh my life: how much more [may] this Benjamite now [do it]? let him alone, and let him curse; for Jehovah hath bidden him. | Poi Davide disse ad Abishai e a tutti i suoi servi: Ecco, mio figlio, che è uscito dalle mie viscere, cerca di togliermi la vita; a maggior ragione quindi questo Beniaminita! Lasciatelo stare e lasciate che maledica, perché glielo ha ordinato l'Eterno. |
| 12 | Peut-être l'Éternel regardera mon affliction, et l'Éternel me rendra le bien pour la malédiction qui tombe aujourd'hui sur moi. | It may be that Jehovah will look on the wrong done unto me, and that Jehovah will requite me good for [his] cursing of me this day. | Forse l'Eterno vedrà la mia afflizione e l'Eterno mi farà del bene in cambio delle sue maledizioni di oggi. |
| 13 | Et David et ses hommes allèrent leur chemin; et Shimhi marchait sur le flanc de la montagne, vis-à-vis de lui, et en marchant il maudissait et lançait des pierres contre lui, et jetait de la poussière. | So David and his men went by the way; and Shimei went along on the hill-side over against him, and cursed as he went, and threw stones at him, and cast dust. | Così Davide e la sua gente continuarono il loro cammino; anche Scimei camminava sul fianco del monte, di fronte a Davide e, cammin facendo, lo malediceva, gli tirava sassi e lanciava polvere. |
| 14 | Et le roi, et tout le peuple qui était avec lui, arrivèrent fatigués, et là ils se refirent. | And the king, and all the people that were with him, came weary; and he refreshed himself there. | Il re e tutta la gente che era con lui arrivarono a destinazione stanchi, e là si rianimarono. |
| 15 | Et Absalom, et tout le peuple, les hommes d'Israël, vinrent à Jérusalem, et Akhitophel avec lui. | And Absalom, and all the people, the men of Israel, came to Jerusalem, and Ahithophel with him. | Nel frattempo Absalom e tutto il popolo, gli uomini d'Israele, erano entrati in Gerusalemme, Ahithofel era con lui. |
| 16 | Et il arriva que, lorsque Hushaï, l'Arkite, l'ami de David, vint vers Absalom, Hushaï dit à Absalom: Vive le roi! vive le roi! | And it came to pass, when Hushai the Archite, David`s friend, was come unto Absalom, that Hushai said unto Absalom, [Long] live the king, [Long] live the king. | Quando Hushai, l'Arkita, l'amico di Davide, giunse da Absalom, Hushai disse ad Absalom: Viva il re! Viva il re!. |
| 17 | Et Absalom dit à Hushaï: Est-ce là ta bonté pour ton ami? Pourquoi n'es-tu pas allé avec ton ami? | And Absalom said to Hushai, Is this thy kindness to thy friend? why wentest thou not with thy friend? | Absalom disse a Hushai: E' questo l'amore che porti al tuo amico? Perché non sei tu andato col tuo amico?. |
| 18 | Et Hushaï dit à Absalom: Non, car je serai à celui qu'ont choisi l'Éternel et ce peuple, et tous les hommes d'Israël, et c'est avec lui que je demeurerai; et de plus, qui servirai-je? | And Hushai said unto Absalom, Nay; but whom Jehovah, and this people, and all the men of Israel have chosen, his will I be, and with him will I abide. | Hushai rispose ad Absalom: No, io sarò di colui che l'Eterno e questo popolo e tutti gli uomini d'Israele hanno scelto, e con lui rimarrò. |
| 19 | Ne sera-ce pas devant son fils? Comme j'ai servi devant ton père, ainsi je serai devant toi. | And again, whom should I serve? [should I] not [serve] in the presence of his son? as I have served in thy father`s presence, so will I be in thy presence. | Non dovrei forse servire suo figlio? Come ho servito tuo padre, così servirò te. |
| 20 | Et Absalom dit à Akhitophel: Donnez un conseil sur ce que nous ferons. | Then said Absalom to Ahithophel, Give your counsel what we shall do. | Allora Absalom disse a Ahithofel: Date il vostro consiglio! Cosa dobbiamo fare?. |
| 21 | Et Akhitophel dit à Absalom: Va vers les concubines de ton père, qu'il a laissées pour garder la maison; et tout Israël entendra dire que tu es en mauvaise odeur auprès de ton père, et les mains de tous ceux qui sont avec toi seront fortifiées. | And Ahithophel said unto Absalom, Go in unto thy father`s concubines, that he hath left to keep the house; and all Israel will hear that thou art abhorred of thy father: then will the hands of all that are with thee be strong. | Ahithofel rispose ad Absalom: Entra dalle concubine di tuo padre, che egli ha lasciato a custodire la casa così tutto Israele saprà che ti sei reso odioso a tuo padre e si rafforzerà il coraggio di quelli che sono con te. |
| 22 | Et on tendit une tente pour Absalom sur le toit; et Absalom entra vers les concubines de son père, aux yeux de tout Israël. | So they spread Absalom a tent upon the top of the house; and Absalom went in unto his father`s concubines in the sight of all Israel. | Eressero quindi una tenda sulla terrazza per Absalom, e Absalom entrò dalle concubine di suo padre sotto gli occhi di tutto Israele. |
| 23 | Et le conseil que donnait Akhitophel, en ces jours-là, était comme si on se fut enquis de la parole de Dieu. Ainsi était tout le conseil d'Akhitophel, tant auprès de David qu'auprès d'Absalom. | And the counsel of Ahithophel, which he gave in those days, was as if a man inquired at the oracle of God: so was all the counsel of Ahithophel both with David and with Absalom. | In quei giorni, un consiglio dato da Ahithofel aveva lo stesso valore di chi avesse consultato la parola di DIO. Così era ogni consiglio di Ahithofel tanto per Davide che per Absalom. |
