| 8 | For thy servant vowed a vow while I abode at Geshur in Syria, saying, If the LORD shall bring me again indeed to Jerusalem, then I will serve the LORD. | Car, quand ton serviteur demeurait à Gueshur en Syrie, il fit un voeu, disant: Si l'Éternel me ramène à Jérusalem, je servirai l'Éternel. | Poiché, durante la sua permanenza a Gheshur in Siria, il tuo servo ha fatto un voto, dicendo: "Se l'Eterno mi riconduce a Gerusalemme, io servirò l'Eterno!". |

| 14 | And David said unto all his servants that were with him at Jerusalem, Arise, and let us flee; for we shall not else escape from Absalom: make speed to depart, lest he overtake us suddenly, and bring evil upon us, and smite the city with the edge of the sword. | Et David dit à tous ses serviteurs qui étaient avec lui à Jérusalem: Levez-vous et fuyons, car nous ne saurions échapper à Absalom. | 15 | And the king's servants said unto the king, Behold, thy servants are ready to do whatsoever my lord the king shall appoint. | Et les serviteurs du roi répondirent au roi: Tes serviteurs sont prêts à faire tout ce que le roi, notre seigneur, trouvera bon. | I servi del re gli dissero: Ecco i tuoi servi sono pronti a fare tutto ciò che piacerà al re, nostro signore. |
| 16 | And the king went forth, and all his household after him. | 19 | Then said the king to Ittai the Gittite, Wherefore goest thou also with us? return to thy place, and abide with the king: for thou art a stranger, and also an exile. | Mais le roi dit à Itthaï, le Guitthien: Pourquoi viendrais-tu aussi avec nous? Retourne-t'en, et demeure avec le roi, car tu es étranger, et tu dois même retourner en ton lieu. | Allora il re disse a Ittai di Gath Perché vieni anche tu con noi? | 20 | Whereas thou camest but yesterday, should I this day make thee go up and down with us? seeing I go whither I may, return thou, and take back thy brethren: mercy and truth be with thee. | Tu es arrivé hier, et te ferai-je aujourd'hui errer çà et là avec nous? Quant à moi, je vais où je puis; retourne-t'en, et emmène tes frères avec toi. Que la miséricorde et la vérité t'accompagnent! | Tu sei arrivato solo ieri e oggi dovrei farti vagare con noi, quando io stesso non so dove vado? | 21 | And Ittai answered the king, and said, As the LORD liveth, and as my lord the king liveth, surely in what place my lord the king shall be, whether in death or life, even there also will thy servant be. | Mais Itthaï répondit au roi, en disant: L'Éternel est vivant, et le roi, mon seigneur, vit! au lieu où sera le roi mon seigneur, soit pour mourir, soit pour vivre, ton serviteur y sera aussi. | Ma Ittai rispose al re dicendo: Com'è vero che l'Eterno vive e che vive il re mio signore, in qualunque luogo sarà il re mio signore per morire o per vivere, là sarà anche il tuo servo. |
| 22 | And David said to Ittai, Go and pass over. And Ittai the Gittite passed over, and all his men, and all the little ones that were with him. | Alors David dit à Itthaï: Viens et marche. Et Itthaï, le Guitthien, marcha, avec tous ses gens, et tous les petits enfants qui étaient avec lui. | Allora Davide disse a Ittai: Va'avanti e prosegui. Così Ittai il Ghitteo passò oltre con tutta la sua gente e con tutti i fanciulli che erano con lui. |
| 23 | And all the country wept with a loud voice, and all the people passed over: the king also himself passed over the brook Kidron, and all the people passed over, toward the way of the wilderness. | Or tout le pays pleurait à grands cris; et tout le peuple passait. Et le roi passa le torrent du Cédron, et tout le peuple passa vis-à-vis du chemin qui mène au désert. | Tutti quelli del paese piangevano ad alta voce, mentre tutto il popolo passava. | 24 | And lo Zadok also, and all the Levites were with him, bearing the ark of the covenant of God: and they set down the ark of God; and Abiathar went up, until all the people had done passing out of the city. | Tsadok était aussi là, et avec lui tous les Lévites qui portaient l'arche de l'alliance de Dieu; et ils posèrent là l'arche de Dieu; et Abiathar montait, pendant que tout le peuple achevait de sortir de la ville. | Ed ecco venire anche Tsadok con tutti i Leviti, i quali portavano l'arca del patto di DIO. Essi deposero l'arca di DIO e Abiathar offrì sacrifici, finché tutto il popolo finì di uscir dalla città. |
| 25 | And the king said unto Zadok, Carry back the ark of God into the city: if I shall find favour in the eyes of the LORD, he will bring me again, and shew me both it, and his habitation: | Mais le roi dit à Tsadok: Reporte l'arche de Dieu dans la ville. Si je trouve grâce devant l'Éternel, il me ramènera, et il me fera voir l'arche et sa demeure. | Poi il re disse a Tsadok: Riporta in città l'arca di DIO! Se io trovo grazia agli occhi dell'Eterno, egli mi farà tornare e me la farà rivedere insieme con la sua dimora. |
| 26 | But if he thus say, I have no delight in thee; behold, here am I, let him do to me as seemeth good unto him. | Que s'il dit ainsi: Je ne prends point de plaisir en toi; me voici, qu'il fasse de moi ce qui lui semblera bon. | Ma se dice: "Non ti gradisco", eccomi, faccia di me ciò che gli pare. |
| 27 | The king said also unto Zadok the priest, Art not thou a seer? return into the city in peace, and your two sons with you, Ahimaaz thy son, and Jonathan the son of Abiathar. | Le roi dit encore à Tsadok, le sacrificateur: Vois-tu? Retourne en paix à la ville, ainsi qu'Achimaats, ton fils, et Jonathan, fils d'Abiathar, vos deux fils, avec vous. | Il re disse ancora al sacerdote Tsadok: Non sei tu il veggente? Torna in pace in città con i due vostri figli: Ahimaats, tuo figlio e Gionathan, figlio di Abiathar. |

| 30 | And David went up by the ascent of mount Olivet, and wept as he went up, and had his head covered, and he went barefoot: and all the people that was with him covered every man his head, and they went up, weeping as they went up. | Et David montait par la montée des Oliviers, et en montant il pleurait; il avait la tête couverte, et marchait nu-pieds. Tout le peuple aussi qui était avec lui montait, chacun ayant la tête couverte; et en montant ils pleuraient. | Davide saliva il pendio del monte degli Ulivi e, salendo, piangeva; camminava col capo coperto e a piedi scalzi. | 31 | And one told David, saying, Ahithophel is among the conspirators with Absalom. And David said, O LORD, I pray thee, turn the counsel of Ahithophel into foolishness. | Alors on fit ce rapport à David, et on lui dit: Achithophel est parmi les conjurés avec Absalom. Et David dit: Je te prie, ô Éternel, déjoue le conseil d'Achithophel! | Qualcuno venne a dire a Davide: Ahithofel è con Absalom tra i congiurati. Davide disse: O Eterno, ti prego rendi vani i consigli di Ahithofel!. |
| 32 | And it came to pass, that when David was come to the top of the mount, where he worshipped God, behold, Hushai the Archite came to meet him with his coat rent, and earth upon his head: | Et lorsque David fut venu jusqu'au sommet, où il se prosterna devant Dieu, voici, Cushaï l'Arkite, vint à sa rencontre, ayant sa tunique déchirée et de la terre sur sa tête. | Quando Davide giunse in vetta al monte, dove adorò DIO, ecco farglisi incontro Hushai, l'Arkita con la veste stracciata e il capo coperto di terra. |
| 33 | Unto whom David said, If thou passest on with me, then thou shalt be a burden unto me: | Et David lui dit: Si tu passes plus avant avec moi, tu me seras à charge. | Davide gli disse: Se tu prosegui con me, mi sarai di peso; |
| 34 | But if thou return to the city, and say unto Absalom, I will be thy servant, O king; as I have been thy father's servant hitherto, so will I now also be thy servant: then mayest thou for me defeat the counsel of Ahithophel. | Mais si tu t'en retournes à la ville, et que tu dises à Absalom: Je suis ton serviteur, ô roi! j'ai servi ton père dès longtemps, et maintenant je te servirai; alors tu déjoueras en ma faveur le conseil d'Achithophel. | ma se torni in città e dici ad Absalom: "lo sarò tuo servo, o re; come fui servo di tuo padre nel passato, così sarò ora tuo servo", tu renderai vano in mio favore il consiglio di Ahithofel. |
| 35 | And hast thou not there with thee Zadok and Abiathar the priests? therefore it shall be, that what thing soever thou shalt hear out of the king's house, thou shalt tell it to Zadok and Abiathar the priests. | Et n'auras-tu pas là avec toi les sacrificateurs Tsadok et Abiathar? Et tout ce que tu apprendras de la maison du roi, tu le rapporteras aux sacrificateurs, Tsadok et Abiathar; | Non avrai là con te i sacerdoti Tsadok ed Abiathar? Tutto ciò che sentirai dire da parte della casa del re lo farai sapere ai sacerdoti Tsadok ed Abiathar. |
| 36 | Behold, they have there with them their two sons, Ahimaaz Zadok's son, and Jonathan Abiathar's son; and by them ye shall send unto me every thing that ye can hear. | Voici, ils ont là avec eux leurs deux fils, Achimaats, fils de Tsadok, et Jonathan, fils d'Abiathar; vous me ferez savoir par eux tout ce que vous aurez appris. | Ecco, essi hanno là con sé i loro due figli, Ahimaats figlio di Tsadok e Gionathan figlio di Abiathar; per mezzo di loro mi farete sapere tutto ciò che sentirete |
| 37 | So Hushai David's friend came into the city, and Absalom came into Jerusalem. | Ainsi Cushaï, l'ami de David, retourna dans la ville. Et Absalom vint à Jérusalem. | Così Hushai amico di Davide, tornò in città e Absalom entrò in Gerusalemme. |
