And the men of the city told him, It is the sepulchre of the man of God, who came from Judah, and proclaimed these things that thou hast done against the altar of Beth-el. | Poi disse: Che monumento è quello che vedo?. | 19 | Josias fit encore disparaître toutes les maisons des hauts lieux, qui étaient dans les villes de Samarie et qu'avaient faites les rois d'Israël, en irritant Yahweh; il fit à leur égard entièrement comme il avait fait à Béthel. | And all the houses also of the high places that were in the cities of Samaria, which the kings of Israel had made to provoke [Jehovah] to anger, Josiah took away, and did to them according to all the acts that he had done in Beth-el. | Giosia rimosse pure tutti i templi degli alti luoghi che erano nelle città di Samaria e che i re d'Israele avevano fatto per provocare ad ira l'Eterno. Egli fece ad essi esattamente ciò che aveva fatto a Bethel. |

| 24 | Josias fit encore disparaître les nécromanciens et les sorciers, ainsi que les théraphim, les idoles et toutes les abominations qui se voyaient dans le pays de Juda et à Jérusalem, afin d'accomplir les paroles de la Loi, écrites dans le livre que le prêtre Helcias avait trouvé dans la maison de Yahweh. | Moreover them that had familiar spirits, and the wizards, and the teraphim, and the idols, and all the abominations that were seen in the land of Judah and in Jerusalem, did Josiah put away, that he might confirm the words of the law which were written in the book that Hilkiah the priest found in the house of Jehovah. | Giosia eliminò anche i medium e i maghi, le divinità familiari e gli idoli, e tutte le abominazioni che si vedevano nel paese di Giuda e a Gerusalemme, per mettere in pratica le parole della legge, scritte nel libro che il sacerdote Hilkiah aveva trovato nella casa dell'Eterno. |
| 25 | Il n'y eut pas, avant Josias, de roi qui, comme lui, se tourna vers Yahweh de tout son coeur, de toute son âme et de toute sa force, selon toute la loi de Moïse; et après lui, il n'en a point paru de semblable. | And like unto him was there no king before him, that turned to Jehovah with all his heart, and with all his soul, and with all his might, according to all the law of Moses; neither after him arose there any like him. | Prima di lui non ci fu alcun re che, come lui, sia ritornato all'Eterno con tutto il suo cuore, con tutta la sua anima e con tutta la sua forza, secondo tutta la legge di Mosè; neppure dopo di lui è sorto alcuno come lui. |

Le roi Josias marcha à sa rencontre, et Pharaon le tua à Mageddo, dès qu'il le vit. | In his days Pharaoh-necoh king of Egypt went up against the king of Assyria to the river Euphrates: and king Josiah went against him; and [Pharaoh-necoh] slew him at Megiddo, when he had seen him. | Durante il suo regno, il Faraone Neko, re d'Egitto, salì contro il re di Assiria sul fiume Eufrate.
