| 1 | En ces jours-là, Ézéchias fut malade à la mort; et Ésaïe, le prophète, fils d'Amots, vint vers lui, et lui dit: Ainsi dit l'Éternel: Donne des ordres pour ta maison, car tu vas mourir et tu ne vivras pas. | In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came to him, and said unto him, Thus saith Jehovah, Set thy house in order: for thou shalt die, and not live. | In quei giorni Ezechia si ammalò mortalmente. Allora il profeta Isaia, figlio di Amots, si recò da lui e gli disse: Così parla l'Eterno: "Metti la tua casa in ordine, perché morirai e non guarirai". |
| 2 | Et Ézéchias tourna sa face contre la muraille, et pria l'Éternel, disant: | Then he turned his face to the wall, and prayed unto Jehovah, saying, | Egli allora voltò la faccia verso la parete e pregò l'Eterno, dicendo: |
| 3 | Hélas, Éternel! souviens-toi, je te prie, que j'ai marché devant toi en vérité et avec un coeur parfait, et que j'ai fait ce qui est bon à tes yeux. Et Ézéchias versa beaucoup de larmes. | Remember now, O Jehovah, I beseech thee, how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore. | Ti supplico, o Eterno, ricordati come ho camminato davanti a te con fedeltà e con cuore integro e ho fatto ciò che è; bene ai tuoi occhi. Poi Ezechia scoppio in un gran pianto. |
| 4 | Et il arriva qu'Ésaïe, étant sorti, et n'étant pas encore arrivé au milieu de la ville, la parole de l'Éternel vint à lui, disant: | And it came to pass, before Isaiah was gone out into the middle part of the city, that the word of Jehovah came to him, saying, | Isaia non era ancora giunto al cortile centrale che la parola dell'Eterno gli fu rivolta dicendo: |
| 5 | Retourne, et dis à Ézéchias, prince de mon peuple: Ainsi dit l'Éternel, Dieu de David, ton père: J'ai entendu ta prière, j'ai vu tes larmes; voici, je te guérirai; le troisième jour tu monteras à la maison de l'Éternel; | Turn back, and say to Hezekiah the prince of my people, Thus saith Jehovah, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee; on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of Jehovah. | Torna indietro e di' a Ezechia, principe del mio popolo: "Così parla l'Eterno, il DIO di Davide tuo padre: Ho udito la tua preghiera e ho visto le tue lacrime; ecco, io ti guarisco; nel terzo giorno salirai alla casa dell'Eterno. |
| 6 | et j'ajouterai quinze années à tes jours; et je te délivrerai, toi et cette ville, de la main du roi d'Assyrie, et je protègerai cette ville à cause de moi, et à cause de David, mon serviteur. | And I will add unto thy days fifteen years; and I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for mine own sake, and for my servant David`s sake. | Aggiungerò alla tua vita quindici anni, libererò te e questa città dalle mani del re di Assiria e proteggerò questa città per amore di me stesso e per amore di Davide mio servo". |
| 7 | Et Ésaïe dit: Prenez une masse de figues. Et ils la prirent, et la mirent sur l'ulcère; et Ézéchias se rétablit. | And Isaiah said, Take a cake of figs. And they took and laid it on the boil, and he recovered. | Poi Isaia disse: Prendete un impiastro di fichi. Così essi lo presero e lo applicarono sull'ulcera, e il re guarì. |
| 8 | Et Ézéchias dit à Ésaïe: Quel est le signe que l'Éternel me guérira et que le troisième jour je monterai à la maison de l'Éternel? | And Hezekiah said unto Isaiah, What shall be the sign that Jehovah will heal me, and that I shall go up unto the house of Jehovah the third day? | Or Ezechia disse a Isaia: Qual è il segno che l'Eterno mi guarirà e che nel terzo giorno salirò alla casa dell'Eterno?. |
| 9 | Et Ésaïe dit: Ceci en sera le signe pour toi de par l'Éternel, car l'Éternel accomplira la parole qu'il a prononcée: l'ombre avancera-t-elle de dix degrés, ou retournera-t-elle de dix degrés? | And Isaiah said, This shall be the sign unto thee from Jehovah, that Jehovah will do the thing that he hath spoken: shall the shadow go forward ten steps, or go back ten steps? | Isaia allora gli rispose: Questo è per te il segno da parte dell'Eterno che l'Eterno adempirà la cosa che ha detto: Vuoi che l'ombra avanzi di dieci gradini oppure retroceda di dieci gradini?. |
| 10 | Et Ézéchias dit: C'est peu de chose que l'ombre descende de dix degrés: non, mais que l'ombre retourne de dix degrés en arrière. | And Hezekiah answered, It is a light thing for the shadow to decline ten steps: nay, but let the shadow return backward ten steps. | Ezechia rispose: E facile per l'ombra avanzare di dieci gradini. No! L'ombra retroceda piuttosto di dieci gradini. |
| 11 | Et Ésaïe, le prophète cria à l'Éternel; et l'Éternel fit retourner l'ombre de dix degrés en arrière sur les degrés par lesquels elle était descendue sur le cadran d'Achaz. | And Isaiah the prophet cried unto Jehovah; and he brought the shadow ten steps backward, by which it had gone down on the dial of Ahaz. | Allora il profeta Isaia invocò l'Eterno, che fece retrocedere l'ombra di dieci gradini che essa aveva già percorso sulla scala di Achaz. |
| 12 | En ce temps-là, Berodac-Baladan, fils de Baladan, roi de Babylone, envoya une lettre et un présent à Ézéchias, car il avait appris qu'Ézéchias avait été malade. | At that time Berodach-baladan the son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent letters and a present unto Hezekiah; for he had heard that Hezekiah had been sick. | In quel tempo Berodak-Baladan, figlio di Baladan, re di Babilonia, mandò lettere e un dono a Ezechia, perché aveva sentito che Ezechia era stato ammalato. |
| 13 | Et Ézéchias écouta les messagers, et leur montra toute la maison où étaient renfermés ses objets précieux, l'argent et l'or, et les aromates et l'huile fine, et tout son arsenal, et tout ce qui se trouvait dans ses trésors; il n'y eut rien qu'Ézéchias ne leur montrât dans sa maison et dans tous ses domaines. | And Hezekiah hearkened unto them, and showed them all the house of his precious things, the silver, and the gold, and the spices, and the precious oil, and the house of his armor, and all that was found in his treasures: there was nothing in his house, nor in all his dominion, that Hezekiah showed them not. | Ezechia diede udienza agli inviati e mostrò loro tutta la casa del suo tesoro l'argento, l'oro, gli aromi, gli oli finissimi, il suo arsenale e tutto ciò che si trovava nei suoi magazzini. Et Ézéchias dit: Ils sont venus d'un pays éloigné, de Babylone. | Then came Isaiah the prophet unto king Hezekiah, and said unto him, What said these men? and from whence came they unto thee? And Hezekiah said, They are come from a far country, even from Babylon. | Allora il profeta Isaia si recò dal re Ezechia e gli disse: Che cosa hanno detto quegli uomini e da dove sono venuti a te?. Ezechia rispose: Sono venuti da un paese lontano, da Babilonia. |
| 15 | Et Ésaïe dit: Qu'ont-ils vu dans ta maison? Et Ézéchias dit: Ils ont vu tout ce qui est dans ma maison; il n'y a rien dans mes trésors que je ne leur aie montré. | And he said, What have they seen in thy house? And Hezekiah answered, All that is in my house have they seen: there is nothing among my treasures that I have not showed them. | Isaia disse: Che cosa hanno visto in casa tua?. Ezechia rispose: Hanno visto tutto ciò che si trova in casa mia, non c'è nulla nei miei magazzini che io non abbia fatto loro vedere. |
| 16 | Et Ésaïe dit à Ézéchias: Écoute la parole de l'Éternel: | And Isaiah said unto Hezekiah, Hear the word of Jehovah. | Allora Isaia disse a Ezechia: Ascolta la parola dell'Eterno: |
| 17 | Voici, des jours viennent où tout ce qui est dans ta maison, et ce que tes pères ont amassé jusqu'à ce jour, sera porté à Babylone; il n'en restera rien, dit l'Éternel. | Behold, the days come, that all that is in thy house, and that which thy fathers have laid up in store unto this day, shall be carried to Babylon: nothing shall be left, saith Jehovah. | "Ecco, verranno i giorni, quando tutto ciò che si trova in casa tua e tutto ciò che i tuoi padri hanno accumulato fino al giorno d'oggi, sarà portato in Babilonia; nulla sarà lasciato, dice l'Eterno. |
| 18 | Et on prendra de tes fils, qui sortiront de toi, que tu auras engendrés, et ils seront eunuques dans le palais du roi de Babylone. | And of thy sons that shall issue from thee, whom thou shalt beget, shall they take away; and they shall be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon. | Inoltre alcuni dei tuoi figli, che saranno usciti da te e che tu avrai generato saranno presi e diventeranno eunuchi nel palazzo del re di Babilonia". |
| 19 | Et Ézéchias dit à Ésaïe: La parole de l'Éternel que tu as prononcée est bonne. Et il dit: N'y aura-t-il pas ainsi paix et stabilité pendant mes jours? | Then said Hezekiah unto Isaiah, Good is the word of Jehovah which thou hast spoken. He said moreover, Is it not so, if peace and truth shall be in my days? | Ezechia rispose quindi a Isaia: La parola dell'Eterno che tu hai pronunciato è buona. Egli infatti pensava: Non sarà forse una bella cosa, se ci sarà pace e sicurezza durante la mia vita?. |
| 20 | Et le reste des actes d'Ézéchias, et toute sa puissance, et comment il fit l'étang et l'aqueduc, et amena les eaux dans la ville, cela n'est-il pas écrit dans le livre des chroniques des rois de Juda? | Now the rest of the acts of Hezekiah, and all his might, and how he made the pool, and the conduit, and brought water into the city, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah? | Il resto delle gesta di Ezechia e tutte le sue prodezze, e come egli fece il serbatoio e l'acquedotto, mediante il quale condusse le acque nella città, non è scritto nel libro delle Cronache dei re di Giuda? |
| 21 | Et Ézéchias s'endormit avec ses pères; et Manassé, son fils, régna à sa place. | And Hezekiah slept with his fathers; and Manasseh his son reigned in his stead. | Poi Ezechia si addormentò con i suoi padri, e al suo posto regnò suo figlio Manasse. |
