| 3 | And when all the children of Israel saw how the fire came down, and the glory of the LORD upon the house, they bowed themselves with their faces to the ground upon the pavement, and worshipped, and praised the LORD, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever. | Et tous les enfants d'Israël voyant comment le feu descendait, et comment la gloire de l'Eternel était sur la maison, se courbèrent le visage en terre sur le pavé, et se prosternèrent, et célébrèrent l'Eternel, en disant: Ô! qu'il est bon, parce que sa gratuité demeure éternellement. | Tutti i figli d'Israele, quando videro il fuoco scendere e la gloria dell'Eterno posarsi sul tempio, si prostrarono con la faccia a terra sul pavimento adorarono e lodarono l'Eterno, perché è buono, perché la sua benignità dura in eterno. |
| 4 | Then the king and all the people offered sacrifices before the LORD. | Or le Roi et tout le peuple sacrifiaient des sacrifices devant l'Eternel. | Poi il re e tutto il popolo offrirono sacrifici davanti all'Eterno. |
| 5 | And king Solomon offered a sacrifice of twenty and two thousand oxen, and an hundred and twenty thousand sheep: so the king and all the people dedicated the house of God. | Et le Roi Salomon offrit un sacrifice de vingt et deux mille bœufs, et de six vingt mille brebis. | 6 | And the priests waited on their offices: the Levites also with instruments of musick of the LORD, which David the king had made to praise the LORD, because his mercy endureth for ever, when David praised by their ministry; and the priests sounded trumpets before them, and all Israel stood. | Et les Sacrificateurs se tenaient à leurs emplois, et les Lévites avec les instruments de musique de l'Eternel, que le Roi David avait faits pour célébrer l'Eternel, en disant, que sa gratuité demeure éternellement; ayant les Psaumes de David entre leurs mains. Les Sacrificateurs aussi sonnaient des trompettes vis à vis d'eux, et tout Israël était debout. | I sacerdoti attendevano alle loro mansioni: così pure i Leviti con gli strumenti musicali consacrati all'Eterno, che il re Davide aveva fatto per lodare l'Eterno, perché la sua benignità dura in eterno, ogni volta che Davide lodava per mezzo di essi. | 7 | Moreover Solomon hallowed the middle of the court that was before the house of the LORD: for there he offered burnt offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings, because the brasen altar which Solomon had made was not able to receive the burnt offerings, and the meat offerings, and the fat. | Et Salomon consacra le milieu du parvis qui était devant la maison de l'Eternel; car il offrit là les holocaustes, et les graisses des sacrifices de prospérités, parce que l'autel d'airain, qu'il avait fait, ne pouvait contenir les holocaustes, et les gâteaux, et les graisses. | Salomone consacrò la parte centrale del cortile che era di fronte alla casa dell'Eterno; là infatti offrì gli olocausti e il grasso dei sacrifici di ringraziamento, perché l'altare di bronzo che Salomone aveva fatto non poteva contenere gli olocausti, le oblazioni di cibo e il grasso. |
| 8 | Also at the same time Solomon kept the feast seven days, and all Israel with him, a very great congregation, from the entering in of Hamath unto the river of Egypt. | En ce temps là donc Salomon célébra une fête solennelle, pendant sept jours, et avec lui, tout Israël, qui était une fort grande multitude de peuple, assemblé depuis Hamath, jusqu'au torrent d'Egypte. | In quel tempo Salomone celebrò la festa per sette giorni, e tutto Israele con lui. | 9 | And in the eighth day they made a solemn assembly: for they kept the dedication of the altar seven days, and the feast seven days. | Et au huitième jour ils firent une assemblée solennelle, car ils célébrèrent la dédicace de l'autel pendant sept jours, et la fête solennelle, pendant sept autres jours. | L'ottavo giorno fecero una riunione solenne, perché avevano celebrato la dedicazione dell'altare per sette giorni, e la festa per altri sette giorni. |
| 10 | And on the three and twentieth day of the seventh month he sent the people away into their tents, glad and merry in heart for the goodness that the LORD had shewed unto David, and to Solomon, and to Israel his people. | Et au vingt et troisième jour du septième mois il laissa aller le peuple en ses tentes, se réjouissant et ayant le coeur plein de joie, à cause du bien que l'Eternel avait fait à David, et à Salomon, et à Israël son peuple. | Nel ventitreesimo giorno del settimo mese egli rimandò alle sue tende il popolo allegro e con la gioia nel cuore per il bene che l'Eterno aveva fatto a Davide, a Salomone e a Israele, suo popolo |
| 11 | Thus Solomon finished the house of the LORD, and the king's house: and all that came into Solomon's heart to make in the house of the LORD, and in his own house, he prosperously effected. | Salomon donc acheva la maison de l'Eternel, et la maison Royale; et il réussit en tout ce qu'il avait eu dessein de faire dans la maison de l'Eternel, et dans sa maison. | Così Salomone ultimò la casa dell'Eterno e la reggia e riuscì a portare a termine tutto ciò che aveva in cuore di fare nella casa dell'Eterno e nella sua propria casa. |
| 12 | And the LORD appeared to Solomon by night, and said unto him, I have heard thy prayer, and have chosen this place to myself for an house of sacrifice. | L'Eternel s'apparut encore à Salomon de nuit, et lui dit: J'ai exaucé ta prière, et je me suis choisi ce lieu ci pour une maison de sacrifice. | Poi l'Eterno apparve di notte a Salomone e gli disse: Ho esaudito la tua preghiera e ho scelto questo luogo per me come casa di sacrifici. |
| 13 | If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people; | Si je ferme les cieux, et qu'il n'y ait point de pluie; et si je commande aux sauterelles de consumer la terre; et si j'envoie la mortalité parmi mon peuple; | Quando chiuderò il cielo e non ci sarà più pioggia, quando ordinerò alle locuste di divorare il paese quando manderò la peste al mio popolo, |
| 14 | If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. | Et que mon peuple, sur lequel mon Nom est réclamé, s'humilie, et fasse des prières, et recherche ma face, et se détourne de sa mauvaise voie, alors je l'exaucerai des cieux, et je pardonnerai leurs péchés, et je guérirai leur pays. | se il mio popolo, sul quale è invocato il mio nome, si umilia, prega, cerca la mia faccia e torna indietro dalle sue vie malvagie, io ascolterò dal ciclo, perdonerò il suo peccato e guarirò il suo paese. |
| 15 | Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attent unto the prayer that is made in this place. | Mes yeux seront désormais ouverts, et mes oreilles attentives à la prière qu'on fera dans ce lieu ci. | Ora i miei occhi saranno aperti e le mie orecchie attente alla preghiera fatta in questo luogo. |

| 19 | But if ye turn away, and forsake my statutes and my commandments, which I have set before you, and shall go and serve other gods, and worship them; | Mais si vous vous détournez, et si vous abandonnez mes statuts, et mes commandements que je vous ai proposés, et que vous vous en alliez et serviez d'autres dieux, et vous prosterniez devant eux; | Ma se vi volgerete altrove e abbandonerete i miei statuti e i miei comandamenti che vi ho posto davanti e andrete a servire altri dèi e a prostrarvi davanti a loro, |
| 20 | Then will I pluck them up by the roots out of my land which I have given them; and this house, which I have sanctified for my name, will I cast out of my sight, and will make it to be a proverb and a byword among all nations. | Je les arracherai de dessus ma terre, que je leur ai donnée, et je rejetterai de devant moi cette maison, que j'ai consacrée à mon Nom, et je ferai qu'elle sera un sujet de raillerie parmi tous les peuples. | vi sradicherò dal mio paese che vi ho dato e rigetterò dalla mia presenza questo tempio che ho consacrato al mio nome, e lo renderò la favola e lo zimbello fra tutti i popoli. |
| 21 | And this house, which is high, shall be an astonishment to every one that passeth by it; so that he shall say, Why hath the LORD done thus unto this land, and unto this house? | Et quiconque passera près de cette maison, qui aura été haut élevée, sera étonné, et on dira: Pourquoi l'Eternel a t il traité ainsi ce pays, et cette maison? | Chiunque passerà vicino a questo tempio, pur così imponente, stupirà e dirà: "Perché l'Eterno ha trattato così questo paese e questo tempio?". |
| 22 | And it shall be answered, Because they forsook the LORD God of their fathers, which brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, and laid hold on other gods, and worshipped them, and served them: therefore hath he brought all this evil upon them. | Et on répondra: Parce qu'ils ont abandonné l'Eternel le Dieu de leurs pères, qui les avait retirés du pays d'Egypte, et qu'ils se sont attachés à d'autres dieux, et se sont prosternés devant eux, et les ont servis, à cause de cela il a fait venir tout ce mal sur eux. | Allora gli risponderanno: "Perché hanno abbandonato l'Eterno, il DIO dei loro padri che li fece uscire dal paese d'Egitto, hanno aderito ad altri dèi, si sono prostrati davanti a loro e li hanno serviti, per questo l'Eterno ha fatto venire su di loro tutta questa calamità". |
