| 11 | Ils le remirent aux charpentiers et aux maçons, pour acheter des pierres de taille et du bois pour les assemblages et pour la charpente des maisons que les rois de Juda avaient détruites. | even to the carpenters and to the builders gave they it, to buy hewn stone, and timber for couplings, and to make beams for the houses which the kings of Judah had destroyed. | Lo consegnarono ai falegnami e ai costruttori per acquistare pietre squadrate e legname per le armature e le travature delle case che i re di Giuda avevano distrutto. |
| 12 | Et ces hommes s'employaient fidèlement au travail. Jachath et Obadia, Lévites d'entre les enfants de Mérari, étaient préposés sur eux, et Zacharie et Méshullam, d'entre les enfants des Kéhathites, pour les diriger; et ces Lévites étaient tous habiles dans les instruments de musique. | And the men did the work faithfully: and the overseers of them were Jahath and Obadiah, the Levites, of the sons of Merari; and Zechariah and Meshullam, of the sons of the Kohathites, to set it forward; and [others of] the Levites, all that were skilful with instruments of music. | Quegli uomini facevano il lavoro con fedeltà. | 14 | Or, comme on retirait l'argent qui avait été apporté dans la maison de l'Éternel, Hilkija, le sacrificateur, trouva le livre de la loi de l'Éternel, donné par Moïse. | And when they brought out the money that was brought into the house of Jehovah, Hilkiah the priest found the book of the law of Jehovah [given] by Moses. | Mentre si prelevava il denaro che era stato portato nella casa dell'Eterno, il sacerdote Hilkiah trovò il libro della Legge dell'Eterno, data per mezzo di Mosè. |
| 15 | Alors Hilkija, prenant la parole, dit à Shaphan, le secrétaire: J'ai trouvé le livre de la loi dans la maison de l'Éternel. Et Hilkija donna le livre à Shaphan. | And Hilkiah answered and said to Shaphan the scribe, I have found the book of the law in the house of Jehovah. And Hilkiah delivered the book to Shaphan. | Hilkiah prese allora la parola e disse al segretario Shafan: Ho trovato nella casa dell'Eterno il libro della legge. Quindi Hilkiah diede il libro a Shafan. |
| 16 | Et Shaphan apporta le livre au roi, et rendit compte au roi, en disant: Tes serviteurs font tout ce qu'on leur a donné à faire. | And Shaphan carried the book to the king, and moreover brought back word to the king, saying, All that was committed to thy servants, they are doing. | Shafan portò il libro al re, a cui per di più riferì e disse: I tuoi servi stanno facendo tutto ciò che è stato loro ordinato. |
| 17 | Ils ont versé l'argent qui a été trouvé dans la maison de l'Éternel, et l'ont remis entre les mains des commissaires, et entre les mains de ceux qui ont la charge de l'ouvrage. | And they have emptied out the money that was found in the house of Jehovah, and have delivered it into the hand of the overseers, and into the hand of the workmen. | Essi hanno raccolto il denaro trovato nella casa dell'Eterno e l'hanno consegnato nelle mani dei sorveglianti e degli operai. |
| 18 | Shaphan, le secrétaire, dit aussi au roi: Hilkija, le sacrificateur, m'a donné un livre; et Shaphan y lut devant le roi. | And Shaphan the scribe told the king, saying, Hilkiah the priest hath delivered me a book. And Shaphan read therein before the king. | Shafan, il segretario, disse ancora al re: Il sacerdote Hilkiah mi ha dato un libro. Quindi Shafan lo lesse in presenza del re. |
| 19 | Or il arriva, dès que le roi eut entendu les paroles de la loi, qu'il déchira ses vêtements; | And it came to pass, when the king had heard the words of the law, that he rent his clothes. | Or avvenne che, quando il re udì le parole della legge, si stracciò le vesti. |
| 20 | Et il donna cet ordre à Hilkija, à Achikam, fils de Shaphan, à Abdon, fils de Mica, à Shaphan, le secrétaire, et à Asaja, serviteur du roi, en disant: | And the king commanded Hilkiah, and Ahikam the son of Shaphan, and Abdon the son of Micah, and Shaphan the scribe, and Asaiah the king`s servant, saying, | Poi il re diede quest'ordine a Hilkiah, ad Ahikam figlio di Shafan, ad Abdon figlio di Mikah, a Shafan il segretario e ad Asaiah servo del re, dicendo: |
| 21 | Allez, consultez l'Éternel pour moi et pour ce qui reste en Israël et en Juda, touchant les paroles du livre qui a été trouvé; car la colère de l'Éternel qui s'est répandue sur nous, est grande, parce que nos pères n'ont point gardé la Parole de l'Éternel, pour faire selon tout ce qui est écrit dans ce livre. | Go ye, inquire of Jehovah for me, and for them that are left in Israel and in Judah, concerning the words of the book that is found; for great is the wrath of Jehovah that is poured out upon us, because our fathers have not kept the word of Jehovah, to do according unto all that is written in this book. | Andate a consultare l'Eterno per me e per quelli che sono rimasti in Israele e in Giuda, circa le parole del libro, che è stato trovato; grande infatti è l'ira dell'Eterno che si è riversata su di noi, perché i nostri padri non hanno osservato la parola dell'Eterno, agendo interamente secondo quanto è scritto in questo libro. |
| 22 | Hilkija et ceux que le roi avait désignés allèrent vers Hulda, la prophétesse, femme de Shallum, fils de Tokhath, fils de Hasra, gardien des vêtements. Elle habitait à Jérusalem, dans le second quartier; et ils lui parlèrent dans ce sens. | So Hilkiah, and they whom the king [had commanded], went to Huldah the prophetess, the wife of Shallum the son of Tokhath, the son of Hasrah, keeper of the wardrobe; (now she dwelt in Jerusalem in the second quarter;) and they spake to her to that effect. | Così Hilkiah e quelli che il re aveva designato andarono dalla profetessa Huldah, moglie di Shallum, figlio di Tokhath, figlio di Hasrah, il guardarobiere; (essa abitava a Gerusalemme nel secondo quartiere), e le parlarono in merito a ciò. |

| 24 | Ainsi a dit l'Éternel: Voici, je vais faire venir du mal sur ce lieu et sur ses habitants, toutes les malédictions qui sont écrites dans le livre qu'on a lu devant le roi de Juda. | Thus saith Jehovah, Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, and upon the inhabitants thereof, even all the curses that are written in the book which they have read before the king of Judah. | Così dice l'Eterno: "Ecco, io farò venire una sciagura su questo luogo e sui suoi abitanti, tutte le maledizioni che sono scritte nel libro, che hanno letto davanti al re di Giuda. |
| 25 | Parce qu'ils m'ont abandonné, et qu'ils ont fait des encensements à d'autres dieux, pour m'irriter par toutes les oeuvres de leurs mains, ma colère s'est répandue sur ce lieu, et elle ne sera point éteinte. | Because they have forsaken me, and have burned incense unto other gods, that they might provoke me to anger with all the works of their hands; therefore is my wrath poured out upon this place, and it shall not be quenched. | Poiché mi hanno abbandonato e hanno offerto incenso ad altri dèi per provocarmi ad ira con tutte le opere delle loro mani, la mia ira si riverserà su questo luogo e non si estinguerà". |
| 26 | Mais quant au roi de Juda, qui vous a envoyés pour consulter l'Éternel, vous lui direz: Ainsi a dit l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël, quant aux paroles que tu as entendues: | But unto the king of Judah, who sent you to inquire of Jehovah, thus shall ye say to him, Thus saith Jehovah, the God of Israel: As touching the words which thou hast heard, | Invece al re di Giuda che vi ha mandati a consultare l'Eterno, riferite questo: Così dice l'Eterno, il DIO d'Israele, circa le parole che hai udito: |
| 27 | Parce que ton coeur a été touché, et que tu t'es humilié devant Dieu, quand tu as entendu ses paroles contre ce lieu et contre ses habitants; parce que tu t'es humilié devant moi, et que tu as déchiré tes vêtements, et que tu as pleuré devant moi, moi aussi, j'ai entendu, dit l'Éternel. | because thy heart was tender, and thou didst humble thyself before God, when thou heardest his words against this place, and against the inhabitants thereof, and hast humbled thyself before me, and hast rent thy clothes, and wept before me; I also have heard thee, saith Jehovah. | Poiché il tuo cuore si è intenerito, poiché ti sei umiliato davanti a DIO, udendo le sue parole contro questo luogo e contro i suoi abitanti, ti sei umiliato davanti a me, ti sei stracciato le vesti e hai pianto davanti a me, anch'io ti ho ascoltato", dice l'Eterno. |
| 28 | Voici, je vais te recueillir avec tes pères, et tu seras recueilli en paix dans tes tombeaux, et tes yeux ne verront point tout le mal que je vais faire venir sur ce lieu et sur ses habitants. Et ils rapportèrent au roi cette parole. | Behold, I will gather thee to thy fathers, and thou shalt be gathered to thy grave in peace, neither shall thine eyes see all the evil that I will bring upon this place, and upon the inhabitants thereof. And they brought back word to the king. | "Ecco, io ti riunirò ai tuoi padri, e sarai deposto in pace nel tuo sepolcro; i tuoi occhi non vedranno tutto il male che io farò venire su questo luogo e sui suoi abitanti". Quelli riferirono il messaggio al re. |
| 29 | Alors le roi envoya assembler tous les anciens de Juda et de Jérusalem. | Then the king sent and gathered together all the elders of Judah and Jerusalem. | Allora il re mandò a far radunare presso di sé tutti gli anziani di Giuda e di Gerusalemme. |
| 30 | Et le roi monta à la maison de l'Éternel avec tous les hommes de Juda, et les habitants de Jérusalem, les sacrificateurs et les Lévites, et tout le peuple, depuis le plus grand jusqu'au plus petit; et on lut devant eux toutes les paroles du livre de l'alliance, qui avait été trouvé dans la maison de l'Éternel. | And the king went up to the house of Jehovah, and all the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and the priests, and the Levites, and all the people, both great and small: and he read in their ears all the words of the book of the covenant that was found in the house of Jehovah. | Il re salì quindi alla casa dell'Eterno con tutti gli uomini di Giuda, tutti gli abitanti di Gerusalemme, i sacerdoti, i Leviti, e tutto il popolo, dal più piccolo al più grande, e lesse alla loro presenza tutte le parole del libro del patto, che era stato trovato nella casa dell'Eterno. |
| 31 | Et le roi se tint debout à sa place; et il traita alliance devant l'Éternel, promettant de suivre l'Éternel et de garder ses commandements, ses témoignages et ses lois, de tout son coeur et de toute son âme, en pratiquant les paroles de l'alliance écrites dans ce livre. | And the king stood in his place, and made a covenant before Jehovah, to walk after Jehovah, and to keep his commandments, and his testimonies, and his statutes, with all his heart, and with all his soul, to perform the words of the covenant that were written in this book. | Poi il re, stando in piedi sul palco fece un patto davanti all'Eterno, impegnandosi a seguire l'Eterno e a osservare i suoi comandamenti, i suoi precetti e i suoi statuti con tutto il cuore e con tutta l'anima, per mettere in pratica le parole del patto scritte in quel libro. |
| 32 | Et il y fit adhérer tous ceux qui se trouvaient à Jérusalem et en Benjamin; et les habitants de Jérusalem firent selon l'alliance de Dieu, le Dieu de leurs pères. | And he caused all that were found in Jerusalem and Benjamin to stand [to it]. And the inhabitants of Jerusalem did according to the covenant of God, the God of their fathers. | E vi fece aderire tutti quelli che si trovavano a Gerusalemme e in Beniamino; gli abitanti di Gerusalemme agirono in conformità al patto di DIO, il DIO dei loro padri. |
| 33 | Josias ôta donc, de tous les pays appartenant aux enfants d'Israël, toutes les abominations; et il obligea tous ceux qui se trouvaient en Israël à servir l'Éternel leur Dieu. Pendant toute sa vie, ils ne se détournèrent point de l'Éternel, le Dieu de leurs pères. | And Josiah took away all the abominations out of all the countries that pertained to the children of Israel, and made all that were found in Israel to serve, even to serve Jehovah their God. All his days they departed not from following Jehovah, the God of their fathers. | Così Giosia fece sparire tutte le abominazioni da tutti i paesi che appartenevano ai figli d'Israele e costrinse tutti quelli che si trovavano in Israele a servire l'Eterno, il loro DIO. Durante tutta la sua vita essi non smisero di seguire l'Eterno, il DIO dei loro padri. |
