| 9 | Manassé fit errer Juda et les habitants de Jérusalem, en les induisant à faire le mal plus que les nations que l'Éternel avait détruites devant les fils d'Israël. | So Manasseh made Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem to err, and to do worse than the heathen, whom the LORD had destroyed before the children of Israel. | Ma Manasse fece sviare Giuda e gli abitanti di Gerusalemme inducendoli a fare peggio delle nazioni che l'Eterno aveva distrutto davanti ai figli d'Israele. |
| 10 | Et l'Éternel parla à Manassé, et à son peuple; mais ils n'y firent pas attention. | And the LORD spake to Manasseh, and to his people: but they would not hearken. | L'Eterno parlò a Manasse e al suo popolo, ma essi non prestarono attenzione. |
| 11 | Et l'Éternel fit venir contre eux les chefs de l'armée du roi d'Assyrie, et il prirent Manassé dans des ceps, et le lièrent avec des chaînes d'airain et l'emmenèrent à Babylone. | Wherefore the LORD brought upon them the captains of the host of the king of Assyria, which took Manasseh among the thorns, and bound him with fetters, and carried him to Babylon. | Allora l'Eterno fece venire contro di loro i capi dell'esercito del re di Assiria che presero Manasse con uncini al naso, lo legarono con catene di bronzo e lo condussero a Babilonia. |
| 12 | Et quand il fut dans la détresse, il implora l'Éternel, son Dieu, et s'humilia beaucoup devant le Dieu de ses pères, et le pria; | And when he was in affliction, he besought the LORD his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers, | Quando si trovò nell'avversità, egli implorò l'Eterno, il suo DIO, e si umiliò profondamente davanti al DIO dei suoi padri. |

| 14 | Et après cela, il bâtit la muraille extérieure de la ville de David, au couchant, vers Guihon, dans la vallée, et vers l'entrée de la porte des poissons, et il entoura Ophel d'un mur, et l'éleva très-haut; et il mit des chefs de l'armée dans toutes les villes fortes de Juda. | Now after this he built a wall without the city of David, on the west side of Gihon, in the valley, even to the entering in at the fish gate, and compassed about Ophel, and raised it up a very great height, and put captains of war in all the fenced cities of Judah. | Dopo questo, Manasse costruì un muro fuori della città di Davide, a ovest di Ghihon nella valle, fino alla porta dei pesci, che girava attorno a Ofel, e lo fece molto alto. | 16 | Et il mit en état l'autel de l'Éternel, et y sacrifia des sacrifices de prospérités et d'action de grâces; et il commanda à Juda de servir l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël. | And he repaired the altar of the LORD, and sacrificed thereon peace offerings and thank offerings, and commanded Judah to serve the LORD God of Israel. | Poi restaurò l'altare, dell'Eterno e su di esso offrì sacrifici di ringraziamento e di lode, e comandò a Giuda di servire l'Eterno, il DIO d'Israele. |

| 18 | Et le reste des actes de Manassé, et sa prière à son Dieu, et les paroles des voyants qui lui parlèrent au nom de l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël, voici, cela est écrit dans les actes des rois d'Israël. | Now the rest of the acts of Manasseh, and his prayer unto his God, and the words of the seers that spake to him in the name of the LORD God of Israel, behold, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel. | Il resto delle gesta di Manasse, la preghiera che rivolse al suo DIO e le parole dei veggenti che gli parlarono in nome dell'Eterno, il DIO d'Israele, sono scritte nel libro dei re d'Israele. |

| 22 | Et il fit ce qui est mauvais aux yeux de l'Éternel, comme avait fait Manassé, son père; et Amon sacrifia à toutes les images taillées que Manassé, son père, avait faites, et les servit; | But he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, as did Manasseh his father: for Amon sacrificed unto all the carved images which Manasseh his father had made, and served them; | Egli fece ciò che è male agli occhi dell'Eterno, come aveva fatto Manasse suo padre; Amon infatti offriva sacrifici a tutte le immagini scolpite fatte da Manasse, suo padre, e le serviva. |
| 23 | et il ne s'humilia point devant l'Éternel, comme Manassé, son père, s'était humilié; car lui, Amon, multiplia son péché. | And humbled not himself before the LORD, as Manasseh his father had humbled himself; but Amon trespassed more and more. | Egli non si umiliò davanti all'Eterno, come si era umiliato Manasse, suo padre; anzi Amon peccò sempre di più. |
| 24 | Et ses serviteurs conspirent contre lui, et le mirent à mort dans sa maison. | And his servants conspired against him, and slew him in his own house. | Poi i suoi servi ordirono una congiura contro di lui e lo uccisero in casa sua. |
| 25 | Mais le peuple du pays tua tous ceux qui avaient conspiré contre le roi Amon; et le peuple du pays établit pour roi Josias, son fils, en sa place. | But the people of the land slew all them that had conspired against king Amon; and the people of the land made Josiah his son king in his stead. | Ma il popolo del paese mise a morte tutti quelli che avevano congiurato contro il re Amon; quindi il popolo del paese fece re al suo posto Giosia, suo figlio. |
