| 6 | Il fit passer ses fils par le feu dans la vallée du fils de Hinnom; il pratiquait la magie, les sorcelleries et les augures; il établit des nécromanciens et des devins. Il fit de plus en plus ce qui est mauvais aux yeux de l'Éternel, pour l'irriter. | He also made his children to pass through the fire in the valley of the son of Hinnom; and he practised augury, and used enchantments, and practised sorcery, and dealt with them that had familiar spirits, and with wizards: he wrought much evil in the sight of Jehovah, to provoke him to anger. | Fece anche passare i suoi figli attraverso il fuoco nella valle del figlio di Hinnom; praticò la magia, la divinazione e la stregoneria, e consultò i medium e i maghi. | 9 | Manassé fit donc que Juda et les habitants de Jérusalem s'égarèrent, jusqu'à faire pis que les nations que l'Éternel avait exterminées devant les enfants d'Israël. | And Manasseh seduced Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that they did evil more than did the nations whom Jehovah destroyed before the children of Israel. | Ma Manasse fece sviare Giuda e gli abitanti di Gerusalemme inducendoli a fare peggio delle nazioni che l'Eterno aveva distrutto davanti ai figli d'Israele. |
| 10 | Et l'Éternel parla à Manassé et à son peuple; mais ils n'y voulurent point entendre. | And Jehovah spake to Manasseh, and to his people; but they gave no heed. | L'Eterno parlò a Manasse e al suo popolo, ma essi non prestarono attenzione. |
| 11 | Alors l'Éternel fit venir contre eux les chefs de l'armée du roi des Assyriens, qui mirent Manassé dans les fers; ils le lièrent d'une double chaîne d'airain, et l'emmenèrent à Babylone. | Wherefore Jehovah brought upon them the captains of the host of the king of Assyria, who took Manasseh in chains, and bound him with fetters, and carried him to Babylon. | Allora l'Eterno fece venire contro di loro i capi dell'esercito del re di Assiria che presero Manasse con uncini al naso, lo legarono con catene di bronzo e lo condussero a Babilonia. |
| 12 | Et lorsqu'il fut dans l'angoisse, il implora l'Éternel, son Dieu, et il s'humilia fort devant le Dieu de ses pères. | And when he was in distress, he besought Jehovah his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers. | Quando si trovò nell'avversità, egli implorò l'Eterno, il suo DIO, e si umiliò profondamente davanti al DIO dei suoi padri. |
| 13 | Il lui adressa ses supplications, et Dieu fut fléchi par sa prière, et exauça sa supplication; et il le fit retourner à Jérusalem, dans son royaume; et Manassé reconnut que c'est l'Éternel qui est Dieu. | And he prayed unto him; and he was entreated of him, and heard his supplication, and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. | 14 | Après cela, il bâtit une muraille extérieure à la cité de David, à l'occident, vers Guihon, dans la vallée, jusqu'à l'entrée de la porte des Poissons; il en entoura Ophel, et lui donna une grande hauteur; il établit aussi des chefs d'armée dans toutes les villes fortes de Juda. | Now after this he built an outer wall to the city of David, on the west side of Gihon, in the valley, even to the entrance at the fish gate; and he compassed Ophel about [with it], and raised it up to a very great height: and he put valiant captains in all the fortified cities of Judah. | Dopo questo, Manasse costruì un muro fuori della città di Davide, a ovest di Ghihon nella valle, fino alla porta dei pesci, che girava attorno a Ofel, e lo fece molto alto. Poi in tutte le città fortificate di Giuda pose capi militari. |
| 15 | Il ôta de la maison de l'Éternel les dieux des étrangers, et l'idole, et tous les autels, qu'il avait bâtis sur la montagne de la maison de l'Éternel et à Jérusalem; et il les jeta hors de la ville. | And he took away the foreign gods, and the idol out of the house of Jehovah, and all the altars that he had built in the mount of the house of Jehovah, and in Jerusalem, and cast them out of the city. | Inoltre rimosse dalla casa dell'Eterno gli dèi stranieri e l'idolo, insieme a tutti gli altari che aveva costruito sul monte della casa dell'Eterno e a Gerusalemme, e li gettò fuori della città. |
| 16 | Puis il rebâtit l'autel de l'Éternel et y offrit des sacrifices de prospérités et de louanges; et il ordonna à Juda de servir l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël. | And he built up the altar of Jehovah, and offered thereon sacrifices of peace-offerings and of thanksgiving, and commanded Judah to serve Jehovah, the God of Israel. | Poi restaurò l'altare, dell'Eterno e su di esso offrì sacrifici di ringraziamento e di lode, e comandò a Giuda di servire l'Eterno, il DIO d'Israele. |

| 18 | Le reste des actions de Manassé, sa prière à son Dieu, et les paroles des Voyants qui lui parlaient au nom de l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël, voici, cela est écrit dans les actes des rois d'Israël. | Now the rest of the acts of Manasseh, and his prayer unto his God, and the words of the seers that spake to him in the name of Jehovah, the God of Israel, behold, they are written among the acts of the kings of Israel. | Il resto delle gesta di Manasse, la preghiera che rivolse al suo DIO e le parole dei veggenti che gli parlarono in nome dell'Eterno, il DIO d'Israele, sono scritte nel libro dei re d'Israele. |

| 22 | Il fit ce qui est mauvais aux yeux de l'Éternel, comme avait fait Manassé, son père; il sacrifia à toutes les images taillées que Manassé, son père, avait faites, et il les servit. | And he did that which was evil in the sight of Jehovah, as did Manasseh his father; and Amon sacrificed unto all the graven images which Manasseh his father had made, and served them. | Egli fece ciò che è male agli occhi dell'Eterno, come aveva fatto Manasse suo padre; Amon infatti offriva sacrifici a tutte le immagini scolpite fatte da Manasse, suo padre, e le serviva. |
| 23 | Mais il ne s'humilia point devant l'Éternel, comme Manassé, son père, s'était humilié, car lui, Amon, se rendit coupable de plus en plus. | And he humbled not himself before Jehovah, as Manasseh his father had humbled himself; but this same Amon trespassed more and more. | Egli non si umiliò davanti all'Eterno, come si era umiliato Manasse, suo padre; anzi Amon peccò sempre di più. |
| 24 | Et ses serviteurs conspirèrent contre lui, et le firent mourir dans sa maison. | And his servants conspired against him, and put him to death in his own house. | Poi i suoi servi ordirono una congiura contro di lui e lo uccisero in casa sua. |
| 25 | Mais le peuple du pays frappa tous ceux qui avaient conspiré contre le roi Amon; et le peuple du pays établit pour roi, à sa place, Josias, son fils. | But the people of the land slew all them that had conspired against king Amon; and the people of the land made Josiah his son king in his stead. | Ma il popolo del paese mise a morte tutti quelli che avevano congiurato contro il re Amon; quindi il popolo del paese fece re al suo posto Giosia, suo figlio. |
