| 14 | And Uzziah prepared for them throughout all the host shields, and spears, and helmets, and habergeons, and bows, and slings to cast stones. | Et Hozias leur prépara, savoir à toute cette armée là, des boucliers, des javelines, des casques, des cuirasses, des arcs, et des pierres de fronde. | Uzziah fornì a loro, cioè a tutto l'esercito, scudi, lance, elmi, corazze, archi, e fionde per scagliare sassi. |
| 15 | And he made in Jerusalem engines, invented by cunning men, to be on the towers and upon the bulwarks, to shoot arrows and great stones withal. And his name spread far abroad; for he was marvellously helped, till he was strong. | Et il fit à Jérusalem des machines de l'invention d'un ingénieur, afin qu'elles fussent sur les tours, et sur les coins, pour jeter des flèches, et de grosses pierres. | 16 | But when he was strong, his heart was lifted up to his destruction: for he transgressed against the LORD his God, and went into the temple of the LORD to burn incense upon the altar of incense. | Mais sitôt qu'il fut devenu fort puissant, son coeur s'éleva pour sa perte, et il commit un grand péché contre l'Eternel son Dieu; car il entra dans le Temple de l'Eternel pour faire le parfum sur l'autel des parfums. | Ma, divenuto potente, il suo cuore si inorgoglì fino a corrompersi e peccò contro l'Eterno, il suo DIO, entrando nel tempio, dell'Eterno per bruciare incenso, sull'altare, dell'incenso. |

| 18 | And they withstood Uzziah the king, and said unto him, It appertaineth not unto thee, Uzziah, to burn incense unto the LORD, but to the priests the sons of Aaron, that are consecrated to burn incense: go out of the sanctuary; for thou hast trespassed; neither shall it be for thine honour from the LORD God. | Qui s'opposèrent au Roi Hozias, et lui dirent: Hozias! il ne t'appartient pas de faire le parfum à l'Eternel; car cela appartient aux Sacrificateurs, fils d'Aaron, qui sont consacrés pour faire le parfum. Sors du Sanctuaire, car tu as péché; et ceci ne te sera point honorable de la part de l'Eternel Dieu. | Essi si opposero al re Uzziah e gli dissero: Non tocca a te, o Uzziah, offrire incenso all'Eterno, ma ai sacerdoti, figli di Aaronne, che sono consacrati per offrire l'incenso. Esci dal santuario, perché hai peccato! Questo non ti procurerà alcun onore da parte dell'Eterno DIO. |
| 19 | Then Uzziah was wroth, and had a censer in his hand to burn incense: and while he was wroth with the priests, the leprosy even rose up in his forehead before the priests in the house of the LORD, from beside the incense altar. | Alors Hozias, qui avait en sa main le parfum pour faire des encensements, se mit en colère; et comme il s'irritait contre les Sacrificateurs, la lèpre s'éleva sur son front, en la présence des Sacrificateurs, dans la maison de l'Eternel, près de l'autel des parfums. | Allora Uzziah, che aveva in mano un turibolo per offrire l'incenso, si adirò; ma mentre si adirava contro i sacerdoti, sulla sua fronte scoppiò la lebbra, davanti ai sacerdoti, nella casa dell'Eterno, presso l'altare dell'incenso. |
| 20 | And Azariah the chief priest, and all the priests, looked upon him, and, behold, he was leprous in his forehead, and they thrust him out from thence; yea, himself hasted also to go out, because the LORD had smitten him. | Alors Hazaria le principal Sacrificateur le regarda avec tous les sacrificateurs, et voilà, il était lépreux en son front, et ils le firent incessamment sortir; et il se hâta de sortir, parce que l'Eternel l'avait frappé. | Il sommo sacerdote Azariah e tutti gli altri sacerdoti si voltarono verso di lui, ed ecco, sulla sua fronte era lebbroso. Così lo fecero uscire in fretta ed egli stesso si affrettò ad uscire perché l'Eterno lo aveva colpito. |
| 21 | And Uzziah the king was a leper unto the day of his death, and dwelt in a several house, being a leper; for he was cut off from the house of the LORD: and Jotham his son was over the king's house, judging the people of the land. | Et ainsi le Roi Hozias fut lépreux, jusqu'au jour qu'il mourut; et il demeura lépreux dans une maison écartée; même il fut retranché de la maison de l'Eternel, et Jotham son fils avait la charge de la maison du Roi, jugeant le peuple du pays. | Il re Uzziah fu lebbroso fino al giorno della sua morte e visse in una casa Isolata, perché era lebbroso, poiché era escluso dalla casa dell'Eterno, e suo figlio Jotham era sovrintendente del palazzo reale e rendeva giustizia al popolo del paese. |
| 22 | Now the rest of the acts of Uzziah, first and last, did Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, write. | Or Esaïe fils d'Amots, Prophète, a écrit le reste des faits d'Hozias, tant les premiers que les derniers. | Il resto delle gesta di Uzziah, dalle prime alle ultime, sono state scritte dal profeta Isaia, figlio di Amots. |
| 23 | So Uzziah slept with his fathers, and they buried him with his fathers in the field of the burial which belonged to the kings; for they said, He is a leper: and Jotham his son reigned in his stead. | Et Hozias s'endormit avec ses pères, et fut enseveli avec eux dans le champ des sépulcres des Rois; car, ils dirent, il est lépreux; et Jotham son fils régna en sa place. | Così Uzziah si addormentò con i suoi padri e fu sepolto con i suoi padri nel campo delle sepolture che apparteneva ai re, perché si diceva: è lebbroso.
