| 11 | Ozias avait une armée de gens de guerre, allant en campagne par bandes, selon le compte de leur dénombrement fait par Jéïel, le scribe, et Maaséja, le prévôt, sous la conduite de Hanania, l'un des chefs du roi. | Moreover Uzziah had an army of fighting men, that went out to war by bands, according to the number of their reckoning made by Jeiel the scribe and Maaseiah the officer, under the hand of Hananiah, one of the king`s captains. | Uzziah aveva inoltre un esercito di combattenti che andava alla guerra per schiere, secondo il numero registrato dal segretario Jeiel e dal commissario Maaseiah agli ordini di Hananiah, uno dei capitani del re. |

| 14 | Et Ozias leur procura, pour toute l'armée, des boucliers, des lances, des casques, des cuirasses, des arcs et des pierres de fronde. | And Uzziah prepared for them, even for all the host, shields, and spears, and helmets, and coats of mail, and bows, and stones for slinging. | Uzziah fornì a loro, cioè a tutto l'esercito, scudi, lance, elmi, corazze, archi, e fionde per scagliare sassi. |

Et sa renommée s'étendit au loin; car il fut merveilleusement aidé, jusqu'à ce qu'il fût devenu fort puissant. | And he made in Jerusalem engines, invented by skilful men, to be on the towers and upon the battlements, wherewith to shoot arrows and great stones. And his name spread far abroad; for he was marvellously helped, till he was strong. | In Gerusalemme, fece pure costruire alcune macchine da uomini esperti, che collocò sulle torri e sugli angoli, per scagliare frecce e grosse pietre. La sua fama giunse lontano, perché fu meravigliosamente aiutato finché divenne potente. |
| 16 | Mais lorsqu'il fut puissant, son coeur s'éleva jusqu'à se corrompre; et il commit un péché contre l'Éternel, son Dieu: il entra dans le temple de l'Éternel pour brûler le parfum sur l'autel des parfums. | But when he was strong, his heart was lifted up, so that he did corruptly, and he trespassed against Jehovah his God; for he went into the temple of Jehovah to burn incense upon the altar of incense. | Ma, divenuto potente, il suo cuore si inorgoglì fino a corrompersi e peccò contro l'Eterno, il suo DIO, entrando nel tempio, dell'Eterno per bruciare incenso, sull'altare, dell'incenso. |

Sors du sanctuaire, car tu as péché, et cela ne sera pas à ta gloire devant l'Éternel Dieu. | and they withstood Uzziah the king, and said unto him, It pertaineth not unto thee, Uzziah, to burn incense unto Jehovah, but to the priests the sons of Aaron, that are consecrated to burn incense: go out of the sanctuary; for thou hast trespassed; neither shall it be for thine honor from Jehovah God. | Essi si opposero al re Uzziah e gli dissero: Non tocca a te, o Uzziah, offrire incenso all'Eterno, ma ai sacerdoti, figli di Aaronne, che sono consacrati per offrire l'incenso. | 19 | Alors Ozias, qui avait à la main un encensoir pour faire brûler le parfum, se mit en colère, et comme il s'irritait contre les sacrificateurs, la lèpre parut sur son front, en présence des sacrificateurs, dans la maison de l'Éternel, près de l'autel des parfums. | Then Uzziah was wroth; and he had a censer in his hand to burn incense; and while he was wroth with the priests, the leprosy brake forth in his forehead before the priests in the house of Jehovah, beside the altar of incense. | Allora Uzziah, che aveva in mano un turibolo per offrire l'incenso, si adirò; ma mentre si adirava contro i sacerdoti, sulla sua fronte scoppiò la lebbra, davanti ai sacerdoti, nella casa dell'Eterno, presso l'altare dell'incenso. |
| 20 | Et Asaria, le principal sacrificateur, le regarda ainsi que tous les sacrificateurs, et voici, il avait la lèpre au front. Ils le firent donc sortir en hâte de là; et lui-même se hâta de sortir, parce que l'Éternel l'avait frappé. | And Azariah the chief priest, and all the priests, looked upon him, and, behold, he was leprous in his forehead, and they thrust him out quickly from thence; yea, himself hasted also to go out, because Jehovah had smitten him. | Il sommo sacerdote Azariah e tutti gli altri sacerdoti si voltarono verso di lui, ed ecco, sulla sua fronte era lebbroso. Così lo fecero uscire in fretta ed egli stesso si affrettò ad uscire perché l'Eterno lo aveva colpito. |
| 21 | Le roi Ozias fut ainsi lépreux jusqu'au jour de sa mort, et demeura comme lépreux dans une maison écartée, car il était exclu de la maison de l'Éternel. Et Jotham, son fils, avait le commandement de la maison du roi, jugeant le peuple du pays. | And Uzziah the king was a leper unto the day of his death, and dwelt in a separate house, being a leper; for he was cut off from the house of Jehovah: and Jotham his son was over the king`s house, judging the people of the land. | Il re Uzziah fu lebbroso fino al giorno della sua morte e visse in una casa Isolata, perché era lebbroso, poiché era escluso dalla casa dell'Eterno, e suo figlio Jotham era sovrintendente del palazzo reale e rendeva giustizia al popolo del paese. |
| 22 | Or Ésaïe, fils d'Amots, le prophète, a écrit le reste des actions d'Ozias, les premières et les dernières. | Now the rest of the acts of Uzziah, first and last, did Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, write. | Il resto delle gesta di Uzziah, dalle prime alle ultime, sono state scritte dal profeta Isaia, figlio di Amots. |
| 23 | Et Ozias s'endormit avec ses pères, et on l'ensevelit avec ses pères dans le champ de la sépulture des rois; car on dit: Il est lépreux. Et Jotham, son fils, régna à sa place. | So Uzziah slept with his fathers; and they buried him with his fathers in the field of burial which belonged to the kings; for they said, He is a leper: and Jotham his son reigned in his stead. | Così Uzziah si addormentò con i suoi padri e fu sepolto con i suoi padri nel campo delle sepolture che apparteneva ai re, perché si diceva: è lebbroso. Al suo posto regnò suo figlio Jotham. |
