| 14 | Voici, l'Eternel s'en va frapper de grandes plaies ton peuple, tes enfants, tes femmes, et tous tes troupeaux. | behold, Jehovah will smite with a great plague thy people, and thy children, and thy wives, and all thy substance; | ecco, l'Eterno colpirà con una grande calamità il tuo popolo, i tuoi figli, le tue mogli e tutto ciò che ti appartiene; |
| 15 | Et tu auras de grosses maladies, une maladie d'entrailles, jusques là que tes entrailles sortiront par la force de la maladie, qui durera deux ans. | and thou shalt have great sickness by disease of thy bowels, until thy bowels fall out by reason of the sickness, day by day. | tu stesso sarai colpito da gravi malattie, una malattia intestinale tale, che per questa malattia le tue viscere usciranno un po' per giorno". |
| 16 | L'Eternel souleva donc contre Joram l'esprit des Philistins, et des Arabes qui habitent près des Ethiopiens; | And Jehovah stirred up against Jehoram the spirit of the Philistines, and of the Arabians that are beside the Ethiopians: | Inoltre l'Eterno risvegliò contro Jehoram lo spirito dei Filistei e degli Arabi, che abitano a fianco degli Etiopi; |
| 17 | Lesquels montèrent contre Juda, et se jetèrent sur tout le pays, et pillèrent toutes les richesses qui furent trouvées dans la maison du Roi, et même ils emmenèrent captifs ses enfants et ses femmes; de sorte qu'il ne lui demeura aucun fils, sinon Jéhoachaz, le plus petit de ses enfants. | and they came up against Judah, and brake into it, and carried away all the substance that was found in the king`s house, and his sons also, and his wives; so that there was never a son left him, save Jehoahaz, the youngest of his sons. | ed essi salirono contro Giuda, l'invasero e portarono via tutte le ricchezze che si trovavano nel palazzo reale compresi i suoi figli e le sue mogli; così non gli rimase più alcun figlio se non Jehoahaz, il più piccolo dei suoi figli. |

| 19 | Et il arriva qu'un jour s'écoulant après l'autre, et comme le temps de deux ans vint à expirer, ses entrailles sortirent par la force de la maladie; ainsi il mourut avec de grandes douleurs; et le peuple ne fit point brûler sur lui de choses aromatiques, comme on avait fait sur ses pères. | And it came to pass, in process of time, at the end of two years, that his bowels fell out by reason of his sickness, and he died of sore diseases. And his people made no burning for him, like the burning of his fathers. | Così, con l'andar del tempo, al termine del secondo anno, per la malattia le viscere gli uscirono fuori e morì in mezzo ad atroci sofferenze. | 20 | Il était âgé de trente deux ans quand il commença à régner, et il régna huit ans à Jérusalem; il s'en alla sans être regretté, et on l'ensevelit en la Cité de David, mais non pas aux sépulcres des Rois. | Thirty and two years old was he when he began to reign, and he reigned in Jerusalem eight years: and he departed without being desired; and they buried him in the city of David, but not in the sepulchres of the kings. | Egli aveva trentadue anni quando iniziò a regnare, e regnò otto anni in Gerusalemme.
