| 8 | Quand on fut de retour à Jérusalem, Josaphat y établit aussi, pour les jugements de l'Éternel et pour les contestations, des Lévites, des sacrificateurs et des chefs de maisons paternelles d'Israël. | Moreover in Jerusalem did Jehoshaphat set of the Levites, and of the priests, and of the chief of the fathers of Israel, for the judgment of the LORD, and for controversies, when they returned to Jerusalem. | Josaphat aussi établit à Jérusalem quelques uns des Lévites, et des Sacrificateurs, et des Chefs des pères d'Israël, pour le jugement de l'Eternel, et pour les procès; car on revenait à Jérusalem. | Moreover in Jerusalem did Jehoshaphat set of the Levites and the priests, and of the heads of the fathers` [houses] of Israel, for the judgment of Jehovah, and for controversies. C'est ainsi que vous agirez, et vous ne serez point coupables. | And what cause soever shall come to you of your brethren that dwell in your cities, between blood and blood, between law and commandment, statutes and judgments, ye shall even warn them that they trespass not against the LORD, and so wrath come upon you, and upon your brethren: this do, and ye shall not trespass. | Et quant à tous les différends qui viendront devant vous de la part de vos frères qui habitent dans leurs villes, lorsqu'il faudra juger entre meurtre et meurtre, entre loi et commandement, entre statuts et ordonnances, vous les en instruirez, afin qu'ils ne se trouvent point coupables envers l'Eternel; et que son indignation ne soit point sur vous et sur vos frères; vous agirez donc ainsi, et vous ne serez point trouvés coupables. | And whensoever any controversy shall come to you from your brethren that dwell in their cities, between blood and blood, between law and commandment, statutes and ordinances, ye shall warn them, that they be not guilty towards Jehovah, and so wrath come upon you and upon your brethren: this do, and ye shall not be guilty. |

Fortifiez-vous et agissez, et que l'Éternel soit avec celui qui fera le bien ! | And, behold, Amariah the chief priest is over you in all matters of the LORD; and Zebadiah the son of Ishmael, the ruler of the house of Judah, for all the king's matters: also the Levites shall be officers before you. Deal courageously, and the LORD shall be with the good. | Et voici, Amaria le principal Sacrificateur sera au dessus de vous dans toutes les affaires de l'Eternel; et Zébadia fils d'Ismaël sera le conducteur de la maison de Juda, dans toutes les affaires du Roi; et les prévôts Lévites sont devant vous.
