| 7 | Et quand l'Éternel vit qu'ils s'humiliaient, la parole de l'Éternel fut ainsi adressée à Schemaeja : Ils se sont humiliés, je ne les détruirai pas, je ne tarderai pas à les secourir, et ma colère ne se répandra pas sur Jérusalem par Schischak ; | And when the LORD saw that they humbled themselves, the word of the LORD came to Shemaiah, saying, They have humbled themselves; therefore I will not destroy them, but I will grant them some deliverance; and my wrath shall not be poured out upon Jerusalem by the hand of Shishak. | Quando l'Eterno vide che si erano umiliati, la parola dell'Eterno fu rivolta a Scemaiah, dicendo: Poiché essi si sono umiliati, io non li distruggerò, ma concederò loro fra poco liberazione e la mia ira non si riverserà su Gerusalemme per mezzo di Scishak. |

Et il y avait encore de bonnes choses en Juda. | And when he humbled himself, the wrath of the LORD turned from him, that he would not destroy him altogether: and also in Judah things went well. | Poiché Roboamo si era umiliato, l'ira dell'Eterno si ritirò da lui e non lo distrusse completamente; in Giuda c'erano anche delle cose buone. |

Sa mère s'appelait Naama, l'Ammonite. | So king Rehoboam strengthened himself in Jerusalem, and reigned: for Rehoboam was one and forty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned seventeen years in Jerusalem, the city which the LORD had chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, to put his name there. And his mother's name was Naamah an Ammonitess. | Così il re Roboamo si rafforzò in Gerusalemme e continuò a regnare. Il y eut toujours guerre entre Roboam et Jéroboam. | Now the acts of Rehoboam, first and last, are they not written in the book of Shemaiah the prophet, and of Iddo the seer concerning genealogies?
