Allons y donc ; peut-être nous fera-t-il connaître le chemin que nous devons prendre. | And he said unto him, Behold now, there is in this city a man of God, and he is a man that is held in honor; all that he saith cometh surely to pass: now let us go thither; peradventure he can tell us concerning our journey whereon we go. | Il servo gli disse: Ecco, in questa città c'è un uomo di DIO, che è tenuto in grande onore; tutto ciò che egli dice, si avvera certamente. | 7 | Saül dit à son serviteur : Mais si nous y allons, que porterons-nous à l'homme de Dieu ? Car il n'y a plus de provisions dans nos sacs, et nous n'avons aucun présent à offrir à l'homme de Dieu. Qu'est-ce que nous avons ? | Then said Saul to his servant, But, behold, if we go, what shall we bring the man? for the bread is spent in our vessels, and there is not a present to bring to the man of God: what have we? | Saul disse al suo servo: Ma ecco, se andiamo, cosa porteremo all'uomo di DIO? Poiché il pane delle nostre sacche è finito e non abbiamo alcun dono da portare all'uomo di DIO. Che cosa abbiamo con noi?. |
| 8 | Le serviteur reprit la parole, et dit à Saül : Voici, j'ai sur moi le quart d'un sicle d'argent ; je le donnerai à l'homme de Dieu, et il nous indiquera notre chemin. | And the servant answered Saul again, and said, Behold, I have in my hand the fourth part of a shekel of silver: that will I give to the man of God, to tell us our way. | Il servo rispose a Saul, dicendo: Ecco, io ho in mano un quarto di un siclo d'argento; lo darò all'uomo di DIO, ed egli ci indicherà la via. |
| 9 | Autrefois en Israël, quand on allait consulter Dieu, on disait : Venez, et allons au voyant ! Car celui qu'on appelle aujourd'hui le prophète s'appelait autrefois le voyant. - | (Beforetime in Israel, when a man went to inquire of God, thus he said, Come, and let us go to the seer; for he that is now called a Prophet was beforetime called a Seer.) | (In passato in Israele, quando uno andava a consultare DIO, diceva: Su, andiamo dal veggente, perché il profeta di oggi in passato era chiamato veggente). |
| 10 | Saül dit à son serviteur : Tu as raison : viens, allons ! Et ils se rendirent à la ville où était l'homme de Dieu. | Then said Saul to his servant, Well said; come, let us go. So they went unto the city where the man of God was. | Allora Saul disse al suo servo: Hai detto bene. Su, andiamo!. E si diressero alla città dov'era l'uomo di DIO. |
| 11 | Comme ils montaient à la ville, ils rencontrèrent des jeunes filles sorties pour puiser de l'eau, et ils leur dirent : Le voyant est-il ici ? | As they went up the ascent to the city, they found young maidens going out to draw water, and said unto them, Is the seer here? | Mentre salivano lungo il pendio che porta alla città, incontrarono alcune ragazze che uscivano ad attingere acqua e chiesero loro: E qui il veggente?. |
| 12 | Elles leur répondirent en disant : Oui, il est devant toi ; mais va promptement, car aujourd'hui il est venu à la ville parce qu'il y a un sacrifice pour le peuple sur le haut lieu. | And they answered them, and said, He is; behold, [he is] before thee: make haste now, for he is come to-day into the city; for the people have a sacrifice to-day in the high place: | Esse risposero loro, dicendo: Sì, eccolo, è poco più avanti di voi, affrettatevi. Oggi stesso è venuto in città, perché oggi il popolo ha un sacrificio sull'alto luogo. |
| 13 | Quand vous serez entrés dans la ville, vous le trouverez avant qu'il monte au haut lieu pour manger ; car le peuple ne mangera point qu'il ne soit arrivé, parce qu'il doit bénir le sacrifice ; après quoi, les conviés mangeront. Montez donc, car maintenant vous le trouverez. | as soon as ye are come into the city, ye shall straightway find him, before he goeth up to the high place to eat; for the people will not eat until he come, because he doth bless the sacrifice; [and] afterwards they eat that are bidden. Now therefore get you up; for at this time ye shall find him. | Come entrerete in città, lo troverete certamente prima che salga all'alto luogo a mangiare. Ils étaient arrivés au milieu de la ville, quand ils furent rencontrés par Samuel qui sortait pour monter au haut lieu. | And they went up to the city; [and] as they came within the city, behold, Samuel came out toward them, to go up to the high place. | Così salirono alla città; come essi entravano in città, ecco Samuele usciva verso di loro per salire all'alto luogo. |
| 15 | Or, un jour avant l'arrivée de Saül, l'Éternel avait averti Samuel, en disant : | Now Jehovah had revealed unto Samuel a day before Saul came, saying, | Or il giorno prima dell'arrivo di Saul, l'Eterno aveva avvertito Samuele, dicendo: |
| 16 | Demain, à cette heure, je t'enverrai un homme du pays de Benjamin, et tu l'oindras pour chef de mon peuple d'Israël. Il sauvera mon peuple de la main des Philistins ; car j'ai regardé mon peuple, parce que son cri est venu jusqu'à moi. | To-morrow about this time I will send thee a man out of the land of Benjamin, and thou shalt anoint him to be prince over my people Israel; and he shall save my people out of the hand of the Philistines: for I have looked upon my people, because their cry is come unto me. | Domani a quest'ora ti manderò un uomo del paese di Beniamino, e tu lo ungerai come capo del mio popolo d'Israele. Egli salverà il mio popolo dalle mani dei Filistei, poiché ho visto l'avversità del mio popolo, perché il suo grido è giunto fino a me. |
| 17 | Lorsque Samuel eut aperçu Saül, l'Éternel lui dit : Voici l'homme dont je t'ai parlé ; c'est lui qui régnera sur mon peuple. | And when Samuel saw Saul, Jehovah said unto him, Behold, the man of whom I spake to thee! this same shall have authority over my people. | Quando Samuele vide Saul, l'Eterno gli disse: Ecco l'uomo di cui ti ho parlato; egli regnerà sul mio popolo. |
| 18 | Saül s'approcha de Samuel au milieu de la porte, et dit : Indique-moi, je te prie, où est la maison du voyant. | Then Saul drew near to Samuel in the gate, and said, Tell me, I pray thee, where the seer`s house is. | Poi Saul si avvicinò a Samuele in mezzo alla porta e gli disse: Indicami, ti prego, dov'è la casa del veggente. |
| 19 | Samuel répondit à Saül : C'est moi qui suis le voyant. Monte devant moi au haut lieu, et vous mangerez aujourd'hui avec moi. Je te laisserai partir demain, et je te dirai tout ce qui se passe dans ton coeur. | And Samuel answered Saul, and said, I am the seer; go up before me unto the high place, for ye shall eat with me to-day: and in the morning I will let thee go, and will tell thee all that is in thy heart. | Samuele rispose a Saul e disse: Sono io il veggente. Sali davanti a me sulla collina; oggi mangerete con me. Domani mattina ti lascerò partire e ti dichiarerò tutto ciò che hai nel cuore. |
| 20 | Ne t'inquiètes pas des ânesses que tu as perdues il y a trois jours, car elles sont retrouvées. Et pour qui est réservé tout ce qu'il y a de précieux en Israël ? N'est-ce pas pour toi et pour toute la maison de ton père ? | And as for thine asses that were lost three days ago, set not they mind on them; for they are found. And for whom is all that is desirable in Israel? Is it not for thee, and for all thy father`s house? | Riguardo poi alle tue asine smarrite tre giorni fa, non dartene pensiero, perché sono state ritrovate. E a chi va tutto il desiderio d'Israele, se non a te e a tutta la casa di tuo padre?. |
| 21 | Saül répondit : Ne suis-je pas Benjamite, de l'une des plus petites tribus d'Israël ? et ma famille n'est-elle pas la moindre de toutes les familles de la tribu de Benjamin ? Pourquoi donc me parles-tu de la sorte ? | And Saul answered and said, Am not I a Benjamite, of the smallest of the tribes of Israel? and my family the least of all the families of the tribe of Benjamin? wherefore then speakest thou to me after this manner? | Saul, rispondendo, disse: Non sono io un Beniaminita, di una delle più piccole tribù d'Israele? E la mia famiglia non è forse la più piccola fra tutte le famiglie della tribù di Beniamino? Perché dunque mi parli in questo modo?. |
| 22 | Samuel prit Saül et son serviteur, les fit entrer dans la salle, et leur donna une place à la tête des conviés, qui étaient environ trente hommes. | And Samuel took Saul and his servant, and brought them into the guest-chamber, and made them sit in the chiefest place among them that were bidden, who were about thirty persons. | Allora Samuele prese Saul e il suo servo, li introdusse nella sala e li fece sedere a capo tavola fra gli invitati che erano circa trenta persone. |
| 23 | Samuel dit au cuisinier : Sers la portion que je t'ai donnée, en te disant : Mets-la à part. | And Samuel said unto the cook, Bring the portion which I gave thee, of which I said unto thee, Set it by thee. | Poi Samuele disse al cuoco: Porta la porzione che ti ho dato e di cui ti ho detto: "Mettila da parte". |
| 24 | Le cuisinier donna l'épaule et ce qui l'entoure, et il la servit à Saül. Et Samuel dit : Voici ce qui a été réservé ; mets-le devant toi, et mange, car on l'a gardé pour toi lorsque j'ai convié le peuple. Ainsi Saül mangea avec Samuel ce jour-là. | And the cook took up the thigh, and that which was upon it, and set it before Saul. And [Samuel] said, Behold, that which hath been reserved! set it before thee and eat; because unto the appointed time hath it been kept for thee, for I said, I have invited the people. So Saul did eat with Samuel that day. | Il cuoco allora prese la coscia e ciò che vi aderiva e la mise davanti a Saul. Quindi Samuele disse: Ecco ciò che è stato tenuto in serbo è stato messo da parte per te; mangia perché è stato conservato appositamente per te quando ho invitato il popolo. | 25 | Ils descendirent du haut lieu à la ville, et Samuel s'entretint avec Saül sur le toit. | And when they were come down from the high place into the city, he communed with Saul upon the housetop. | Poi discesero dall'alto luogo in città, e Samuele parlò con Saul sul terrazzo. |
| 26 | Puis ils se levèrent de bon matin ; et, dès l'aurore, Samuel appela Saül sur le toit, et dit : Viens, et je te laisserai partir. Saül se leva, et ils sortirent tous deux, lui et Samuel. | And they arose early: and it came to pass about the spring of the day, that Samuel called to Saul on the housetop, saying, Up, that I may send thee away. And Saul arose, and they went out both of them, he and Samuel, abroad. | L'indomani si alzarono presto; allo spuntar del giorno, Samuele chiamò Saul sul terrazzo, dicendo: Alzati, e io ti lascerò partire. Saul si alzò e ambedue, lui e Samuele, uscirono. |
| 27 | Quand ils furent descendus à l'extrémité de la ville, Samuel dit à Saül : Dis à ton serviteur de passer devant nous. Et le serviteur passa devant. Arrête-toi maintenant, reprit Samuel, et je te ferai entendre la parole de Dieu. | As they were going down at the end of the city, Samuel said to Saul, Bid the servant pass on before us (and he passed on), but stand thou still first, that I may cause thee to hear the word of God. | Quando furono discesi alla periferia della città, Samuele disse a Saul: Di' al servo che passi davanti a noi e vada oltre, ma tu fermati un momento, perché ti possa annunciare la parola di DIO. |
