And the LORD said unto David, Go, and smite the Philistines, and save Keilah. | Così Davide consultò l'Eterno, dicendo: Andrò io a sconfiggere questi Filistei?. L'Eterno rispose a Davide: Va' Sconfiggi i Filistei e salva Keilah. |
| 3 | Et les hommes de David lui dirent: Voici, même ici en Juda, nous avons peur, et comment irions-nous à Kehila, contre les troupes rangées des Philistins? | And David's men said unto him, Behold, we be afraid here in Judah: how much more then if we come to Keilah against the armies of the Philistines? | Ma gli uomini di Davide gli dissero Ecco, noi siamo già pieni di paura qui in Giuda, che sarà poi se andiamo a Keilah contro le schiere dei Filistei?. |
| 4 | Et David interrogea encore l'Éternel, et l'Éternel lui répondit et dit: Lève-toi, descends à Kehila; car je livrerai les Philistins en ta main. | Then David enquired of the LORD yet again. And the LORD answered him and said, Arise, go down to Keilah; for I will deliver the Philistines into thine hand. | Davide consultò di nuovo l'Eterno, e l'Eterno gli rispose e gli disse: Levati scendi a Keilah, perché io darò i Filistei nelle tue mani. |
| 5 | Et David alla avec ses hommes à Kehila, et combattit contre les Philistins et emmena leurs troupeaux, et leur infligea une grande défaite. Et David sauva les habitants de Kehila. | So David and his men went to Keilah, and fought with the Philistines, and brought away their cattle, and smote them with a great slaughter. So David saved the inhabitants of Keilah. | Allora Davide andò con i suoi uomini a Keilah, combattè contro i Filistei, portò via il loro bestiame e compì in mezzo a loro una grande strage. | 6 | Et il était arrivé que, lorsque Abiathar, fils d'Akhimélec, s'était enfui auprès de David à Kehila, il était descendu avec un éphod en sa main. | And it came to pass, when Abiathar the son of Ahimelech fled to David to Keilah, that he came down with an ephod in his hand. | Quando Abiathar, figlio di Ahimelek, si rifugiò presso Davide a Keilah, portò con se l'efod. |
| 7 | Et on rapporta à Saül que David était entré à Kehila. Et Saül dit: Dieu l'a rejeté et livré en ma main; car il s'est enfermé en entrant dans une ville qui a des portes et des barres. | And it was told Saul that David was come to Keilah. And Saul said, God hath delivered him into mine hand; for he is shut in, by entering into a town that hath gates and bars. | Saul fu informato che Davide era giunto a Keilah. Allora Saul disse: DIO lo ha consegnato nelle mie mani, perché è andato a rinchiudersi in una città che ha porte e sbarre. |
| 8 | Et Saül convoqua tout le peuple pour la guerre, pour descendre à Kehila, afin d'assiéger David et ses hommes. | And Saul called all the people together to war, to go down to Keilah, to besiege David and his men. | Saul dunque convocò tutto il popolo per la guerra, per scendere a Keilah e stringere d'assedio Davide e i suoi uomini. |
| 9 | Et David sut que Saül méditait du mal contre lui, et il dit à Abiathar, le sacrificateur: Apporte l'éphod. | And David knew that Saul secretly practised mischief against him; and he said to Abiathar the priest, Bring hither the ephod. | Quando Davide venne a sapere che Saul macchinava del male contro di lui, disse al sacerdote Abiathar: Porta qui l'efod. |
| 10 | Et David dit: Éternel, Dieu d'Israël! ton serviteur a appris comme une chose certaine que Saül cherche à entrer dans Kehila, pour détruire la ville à cause de moi: | Then said David, O LORD God of Israel, thy servant hath certainly heard that Saul seeketh to come to Keilah, to destroy the city for my sake. | Davide quindi disse: O Eterno, DIO d'Israele, il tuo servo ha chiaramente sentito che Saul cerca di venire a Keilah per distruggere la città per causa mia. |

Et l'Éternel dit: Il descendra. | Will the men of Keilah deliver me up into his hand? will Saul come down, as thy servant hath heard? O LORD God of Israel, I beseech thee, tell thy servant. And the LORD said, He will come down. | I capi di Keilah mi consegneranno nelle sue mani? Scenderà Saul come il tuo servo ha inteso dire? O Eterno, DIO d'Israele, deh, fallo sapere al tuo servo!. | 12 | Et David dit: Les hommes de Kehila me livreront-ils, moi et mes hommes, en la main de Saül? Et l'Éternel dit: Ils te livreront. | Then said David, Will the men of Keilah deliver me and my men into the hand of Saul? And the LORD said, They will deliver thee up. | Davide chiese ancora: I capi di Keilah consegneranno me e i miei uomini nelle mani di Saul?. L'Eterno rispose: Vi consegneranno. |
| 13 | Et David se leva, et ses hommes, environ six cents hommes, et ils sortirent de Kehila et s'en allèrent où ils purent. Et on rapporta à Saül que David s'était échappé de Kehila, et il s'abstint d'entrer en campagne. | Then David and his men, which were about six hundred, arose and departed out of Keilah, and went whithersoever they could go. And it was told Saul that David was escaped from Keilah; and he forbare to go forth. | Allora Davide e i suoi uomini, circa seicento, si levarono, uscirono da Keilah e andarono vagando qua e là. Come Saul fu avvertito che Davide era fuggito da Keilah, rinunziò alla sua spedizione. |
| 14 | Et David habita au désert, dans des lieux forts, et il habita dans la montagne, au désert de Ziph. Et Saül le cherchait tous les jours; mais Dieu ne le livra pas en sa main. | And David abode in the wilderness in strong holds, and remained in a mountain in the wilderness of Ziph. And Saul sought him every day, but God delivered him not into his hand. | Davide dimorò in roccaforti nel deserto e rimase nella regione montuosa del deserto di Zif. Saul lo cercava continuamente, ma DIO non glielo consegnò nelle mani. |
| 15 | Et David vit que Saül était sorti pour chercher sa vie; et David se tenait au désert de Ziph, dans un bois. | And David saw that Saul was come out to seek his life: and David was in the wilderness of Ziph in a wood. | Or Davide, sapendo che Saul si era mosso per togliergli la vita, rimase nel deserto di Zif, nella foresta. |
| 16 | Et Jonathan, fils de Saül, se leva et alla vers David dans le bois, et fortifia sa main en Dieu; | And Jonathan Saul's son arose, and went to David into the wood, and strengthened his hand in God. | Allora Gionathan, figlio di Saul, si levò e si recò da Davide nella foresta, e l'aiutò a trovare forza in DIO. |
| 17 | et il lui dit: Ne crains pas, car la main de Saül, mon père, ne te trouvera pas; et tu règneras sur Israël, et moi je serai le second après toi; et Saül, mon père, le sait aussi. | And he said unto him, Fear not: for the hand of Saul my father shall not find thee; and thou shalt be king over Israel, and I shall be next unto thee; and that also Saul my father knoweth. | Gli disse quindi: Non temere, perché Saul, mio padre, non riuscirà a metterti le mani addosso: tu regnerai sopra Israele e io sarò il secondo dopo di te. | 19 | Et les Ziphiens montèrent vers Saül, à Guibha, disant: David ne se tient-il pas caché auprès de nous, dans les lieux forts, dans le bois, sur la colline de Hakila, qui est au midi de Jeshimon? | Then came up the Ziphites to Saul to Gibeah, saying, Doth not David hide himself with us in strong holds in the wood, in the hill of Hachilah, which is on the south of Jeshimon? | Poi gli Zifei salirono da Saul a Ghibeah e gli dissero: Davide non sta nascosto fra noi in roccaforti nella foresta sul colle di Hakilah che è a sud del deserto? |
| 20 | Et maintenant, ô roi, puisque tout le désir de ton âme est de descendre, descends; et ce sera à nous de le livrer en la main du roi. | Now therefore, O king, come down according to all the desire of thy soul to come down; and our part shall be to deliver him into the king's hand. | Perciò, o re, scendi, perché tutto il desiderio della tua anima è di scendere; ci penseremo noi a consegnarlo nelle mani del re. |

| 22 | Allez, je vous prie, assurez-vous encore davantage, et sachez et voyez le lieu où est son pied, et qui l'y a vu, car on m'a dit qu'il est très-rusé. | Go, I pray you, prepare yet, and know and see his place where his haunt is, and who hath seen him there: for it is told me that he dealeth very subtilly. | Andate, vi prego, e accertatevi meglio per conoscere e vedere il luogo dove si rifugia, e chi lo ha visto là perché mi si dice che egli è molto astuto. |
| 23 | Et voyez et sachez toutes les cachettes où il se cache, et revenez vers moi avec quelque chose de certain, et j'irai avec vous; et il arrivera que, s'il est dans le pays, je le chercherai soigneusement parmi tous les milliers de Juda. | See therefore, and take knowledge of all the lurking places where he hideth himself, and come ye again to me with the certainty, and I will go with you: and it shall come to pass, if he be in the land, that I will search him out throughout all the thousands of Judah. | Cercate di conoscere tutti i nascondigli dove si rifugia; poi tornate da me con notizie sicure e io andrò con voi. Così se egli è nel paese, io lo cercherò fra tutte le migliaia di Giuda. |
| 24 | Et ils se levèrent et s'en allèrent à Ziph, devant Saül; mais David et ses hommes étaient au désert de Maon, dans la plaine, au midi de Jeshimon. | And they arose, and went to Ziph before Saul: but David and his men were in the wilderness of Maon, in the plain on the south of Jeshimon. | Allora essi si levarono e andarono a Zif davanti a Saul; ma Davide e i suoi erano nel deserto di Maon, nell'Arabah a sud del deserto. |
| 25 | Et Saül et ses hommes allèrent pour le chercher; et on le rapporta à David, et il descendit le rocher, et habita au désert de Maon. Et Saül l'apprit, et il poursuivit David au désert de Maon. | Saul also and his men went to seek him. And they told David; wherefore he came down into a rock, and abode in the wilderness of Maon. And when Saul heard that, he pursued after David in the wilderness of Maon. | Quando Saul e i suoi uomini andarono a cercarlo, Davide fu avvertito, perciò egli scese alla roccia e rimase nel deserto di Maon. Quando Saul lo seppe diede la caccia a Davide nel deserto di Maon. |
| 26 | Et Saül allait de ce côté-ci de la montagne, et David et ses hommes de l'autre côté de la montagne; et David fuyait en hâte pour échapper à Saül, et Saül et ses hommes cherchaient à environner David et ses hommes, pour les prendre. | And Saul went on this side of the mountain, and David and his men on that side of the mountain: and David made haste to get away for fear of Saul; for Saul and his men compassed David and his men round about to take them. | Saul camminava su un fianco del monte mentre Davide con i suoi uomini camminava sull'altro fianco. Come Davide affrettava la marcia per sfuggire a Saul, mentre Saul e i suoi uomini stavano accerchiando Davide e i suoi uomini per prenderli, |
| 27 | Et un messager vint à Saül, disant: Hâte-toi, et viens, car les Philistins se sont jetés sur le pays. | But there came a messenger unto Saul, saying, Haste thee, and come; for the Philistines have invaded the land. | arrivò da Saul un messaggero che disse: Affrettati a venire, perché i Filistei hanno invaso il paese. |
| 28 | Et Saül cessa de poursuivre David, et il marcha à la rencontre des Philistins. C'est pourquoi on a appelé ce lieu-là Séla-Hammakhlekoth. | Wherefore Saul returned from pursuing after David, and went against the Philistines: therefore they called that place Selahammahlekoth. | Così Saul cessò di inseguire Davide e andò ad affrontare i Filistei, perciò quel luogo fu chiamato la "roccia della divisione" |
| 29 | (24:1) Et David monta de là, et habita dans les lieux forts d'En-Guédi. | And David went up from thence, and dwelt in strong holds at Engedi. | Poi Davide di là salì per stabilirsi nelle roccaforti di En-Ghedi. |
