| 7 | Then will I cut off Israel out of the land which I have given them; and this house, which I have hallowed for my name, will I cast out of my sight; and Israel shall be a proverb and a byword among all people: | Je retrancherai Israël de dessus la terre que je leur ai donnée, et je rejetterai de devant moi cette maison que j'ai consacrée à mon Nom, et Israël sera en dérision et en moquerie à tous les peuples. | then will I cut off Israel out of the land which I have given them; and this house, which I have hallowed for my name, will I cast out of my sight; and Israel shall be a proverb and a byword among all peoples. |
| 8 | And at this house, which is high, every one that passeth by it shall be astonished, and shall hiss; and they shall say, Why hath the LORD done thus unto this land, and to this house? | Et quant à cette maison qui aura été haut élevée, quiconque passera auprès d'elle sera étonné, et sifflera; et on dira: Pourquoi l'Eternel a-t-il fait ainsi à ce pays, et à cette maison? | And though this house is so high, yet shall every one that passeth by it be astonished, and shall hiss; and they shall say, Why hath Jehovah done thus unto this land, and to this house? |

| 21 | Their children that were left after them in the land, whom the children of Israel also were not able utterly to destroy, upon those did Solomon levy a tribute of bondservice unto this day. | Savoir quant à leurs enfants, qui étaient demeurés après eux au pays, et que les enfants d'Israël n'avaient pu détruire à la façon de l'interdit, Salomon les rendit tributaires, et les asservit jusqu'à ce jour. | their children that were left after them in the land, whom the children of Israel were not able utterly to destroy, of them did Solomon raise a levy of bondservants unto this day. |
