| 12 | « Cette maison que tu bâtis..., si tu marches selon mes lois, si tu mets en pratique mes ordonnances, si tu observes tous mes commandements, réglant sur eux ta conduite, j'accomplirai à ton égard ma parole que j'ai dite à David, ton père; | Concerning this house which thou art building, if thou wilt walk in my statutes, and execute mine ordinances, and keep all my commandments to walk in them; then will I establish my word with thee, which I spake unto David thy father. | Per questo tempio che mi stai edificando, se tu cammini secondo i miei statuti, se metti in pratica i miei decreti e osservi tutti i miei comandamenti camminando in essi, io confermerò a tuo favore la promessa che feci a Davide tuo padre: |

| 16 | Il revêtit de planches de cèdre les vingt coudées à partir du fond de la maison, depuis le sol jusqu'au haut des murs, et il prit sur la maison de quoi lui faire un sanctuaire, le Saint des saints. | And he built twenty cubits on the hinder part of the house with boards of cedar from the floor unto the walls [of the ceiling]: he built [them] for it within, for an oracle, even for the most holy place. | Allestì pure con tavole di cedro uno spazio di venti cubiti in fondo al tempio, dal pavimento al soffitto; e riserbò quello spazio interno come santuario, come il luogo santissimo. |

| 19 | Salomon disposa le sanctuaire à l'intérieur de la maison, au fond, pour y placer l'arche de l'alliance de Yahweh. | And he prepared an oracle in the midst of the house within, to set there the ark of the covenant of Jehovah. | Salomone allestì il luogo santissimo all'interno del tempio, per collocarvi l'arca del patto dell'Eterno. |

| 27 | Salomon plaça les chérubins au milieu de la maison intérieure, les ailes déployées; l'aile du premier touchait à l'un des murs, et l'aile du second chérubin touchait à l'autre mur, et leurs autres ailes se touchaient, aile contre aile, vers le milieu de la maison. | And he set the cherubim within the inner house; and the wings of the cherubim were stretched forth, so that the wing of the one touched the one wall, and the wing of the other cherub touched the other wall; and their wings touched one another in the midst of the house. | Salomone pose i cherubini in mezzo al luogo santissimo. | 38 | et la onzième année, au mois de bul, qui est le huitième mois, la maison fut achevée dans toutes ses parties et telle qu'il convenait. Salomon la construisit dans l'espace de sept ans. | And in the eleventh year, in the month Bul, which is the eighth month, was the house finished throughout all the parts thereof, and according to all the fashion of it. So was he seven years in building it. | l'undicesimo anno, nel mese di Bul che è l'ottavo mese, il tempio fu terminato in tutte le sue parti, in base a tutti i disegni dati. Così Salomone impiegò sette anni a costruirlo. |
