Tu surpasses en sagesse et en magnificence ce que la renommée m'avait fait connaître. | Howbeit I believed not the words, until I came, and mine eyes had seen it: and, behold, the half was not told me; thy wisdom and prosperity exceed the fame which I heard. | Ma non ho creduto a queste cose finché non sono venuta io stessa e non ho visto con i miei occhi; ebbene, non mi era stato riferito neppure la metà. C'est parce que Yahweh aime à jamais Israël, qu'il t'a établi roi pour que tu fasses droit et justice. » | Blessed be Jehovah thy God, who delighted in thee, to set thee on the throne of Israel: because Jehovah loved Israel for ever, therefore made he thee king, to do justice and righteousness. | Sia benedetto l'Eterno, il tuo DIO che si è compiaciuto di te, mettendoti sul trono d'Israele! Il ne vint plus de ce bois de santal, et on n'en a plus vu jusqu'à ce jour. | And the king made of the almug-trees pillars for the house of Jehovah, and for the king`s house, harps also and psalteries for the singers: there came no such almug-trees, nor were seen, unto this day. | con il legno di sandalo il re fece sostegni per la casa dell'Eterno e per il palazzo reale e anche cetre e arpe per i cantori. Di questo legno di sandalo non ne fu più portato e non se n'è più visto fino al giorno d'oggi). |
| 13 | Le roi Salomon donna à la reine de Saba tout ce qu'elle désira, ce qu'elle demanda, sans parler des présents, en rapport avec la puissance d'un roi tel que Salomon. Puis elle s'en retourna et alla dans son pays, elle et ses serviteurs. | And king Solomon gave to the queen of Sheba all her desire, whatsoever she asked, besides that which Solomon gave her of his royal bounty. | 19 | Ce trône avait six degrés, et la partie supérieure du trône était arrondie par derrière; il y avait des bras de chaque côté du siège; deux lions se tenaient près des bras, | There were six steps to the throne, and the top of the throne was round behind; and there were stays on either side by the place of the seat, and two lions standing beside the stays. | Il trono aveva sei gradini e la sommità del trono era rotonda nella parte posteriore, c'erano due bracci ai lati del seggio e presso i due bracci stavano due leoni. |

Il ne s'est rien fait de pareil dans aucun royaume. | And twelve lions stood there on the one side and on the other upon the six steps: there was not the like made in any kingdom. | Dodici leoni stavano su entrambe le estremità dei sei gradini. Rien n'était d'argent; on n'en faisait nul cas du temps de Salomon. | And all king Solomon`s drinking vessels were of gold, and all the vessels of the house of the forest of Lebanon were of pure gold: none were of silver; it was nothing accounted of in the days of Solomon. | Tutte le coppe per le bevande del re Salomone erano d'oro, e tutte le coppe del palazzo della "Foresta del Libano" erano d'oro puro. | 27 | Le roi fit que l'argent était à Jérusalem aussi commun que les pierres, et il fit que les cèdres étaient aussi nombreux que les sycomores qui croissent dans la plaine. | And the king made silver to be in Jerusalem as stones, and cedars made he to be as the sycomore-trees that are in the lowland, for abundance. | Inoltre il re rese in Gerusalemme l'argento comune come le pietre e i cedri abbondanti come i sicomori della pianura. |
| 28 | C'était de l'Egypte que provenaient les chevaux de Salomon; une caravane de marchands du roi les allait prendre par troupes à un prix convenu : | And the horses which Solomon had were brought out of Egypt; and the king`s merchants received them in droves, each drove at a price. | I cavalli di Salomone erano importati dall'Egitto e da Kue; i mercanti del re li andavano a prendere a Kue, per un prezzo convenuto. |

Ils en faisaient aussi sortir de la même manière, par eux-mêmes, pour tous les rois des Héthéens et pour les rois de Syrie. | And a chariot came up and went out of Egypt for six hundred [shekels] of silver, and a horse for a hundred and fifty; and so for all the kings of the Hittites, and for the kings of Syria, did they bring them out by their means. | Un carro era importato dall'Egitto per seicento sicli d'argento, e un cavallo per centocinquanta. Così, per mezzo di questi mercanti, li esportavano a tutti i re degli Hittei e ai re della Siria. |
